    Cost and Management Accountant - Gauteng

    Purpose of the role:

    • We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the accounting department by handling accounts payable and accounts receivable, performing bank reconciliations, assisting with month-end and year-end closing, preparing financial statements, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Proficiency in accounting software, excellent attention to detail, and strong analytical and communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyse financial information and prepare balance sheets. financial statements.
    • Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
    • Prepare and present the monthly detailed management accounts that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and related schedules with analysis.
    • Analyse cost structures and identify efficiency opportunities.
    • Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
    • Complete end-of-month close procedures.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related Finance
    • Familiarity with software – Sage
    • 3- 5 years of accounting work experience
    • Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures.
    • Resolve accounts payable and receivable issues or queries.
    • Accurately perform daily reconciliations.
    • Comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for SMEs

    SAP Data Entry Operator

    Purpose of the role:

    • To ensure accurate, timely, and reliable capture of all operational, maintenance, tyre, and battery data within SAP, supporting effective production planning, equipment performance monitoring, and informed management decision-making across the business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately capturing, updating and maintaining all operational and maintenance data related to the business operations using the SAP modules
    • Ensure machine availability, utilization, maintenance activities, tyre and battery performance, and daily operational KPIs are correctly recorded and reported
    • The position plays a critical role in providing reliable data to support production, maintenance planning, and management decision-making
    • Capture daily machine hours, breakdowns, and stoppages
    • Assist planners by maintaining updated backlog and outstanding work orders
    • Record tyre inspections, wear measurements, pressure readings, and replacements
    • Update tyre movement (mounting, demounting, rotation, scrapping)
    • Machine Availability
    • Machine Utilisation
    • Breakdown hours
    • Provide daily performance dashboards to management

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
    • Diploma in Office Administration, Information Systems, Logistics, or related field
    • Minimum 3 Years Experience
    • Technical qualification in the Automotive/Mining industry
    • Strong working knowledge of SAP PM module
    • Experience with Tyre and Battery Management Modules
    • Competent in MS Excel for reporting
    • Ability to analyse data and identify inconsistencies
    • Knowledge of mining fleet 0&M processes is highly desirable
