    TTL Senior Conceptual Team

    Overview

    • We’re on the hunt for a senior, award-winning conceptual creative team that works through the line—an Art Director and Copywriter duo—who thrive on big ideas and bold storytelling. This is not a rollout role, and you will be expected to take the Nestlé portfolio to the award stage. We want thinkers, makers, and cultural shapers who can craft work that resonates with South Africa’s diverse mass market and drives real impact. FMCG experience is advantageous but not a must, as we want to ensure that we bring groundbreaking ideas to our clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop original, high-impact ideas across ATL, BTL, and digital platforms.
    • Collaborate with strategy, account, and production teams to bring ideas to life.
    • Craft compelling visual and verbal narratives tailored to South African audiences.
    • Lead and mentor junior creatives, fostering a culture of excellence.
    • Present and sell ideas with clarity, confidence, and passion.
    • Push creative boundaries while staying aligned with brand and business goals.

    Qualifications

    • Tertiary qualification in your specialty or 7+ years in a creative agency.
    • At least 2 years in a midweight role at a well-established agency.
    • Proven leadership in successful campaigns and creative projects.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual ATL and digital work.
    • Recognition at major award shows (Cannes, One Show, Loeries, Clios, Bookmarks).
    • Minimum of one gold award or craft certificate at a local/international show.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills.
    • Deep understanding of influencer, mobile, podcast, OOH, guerrilla, activations, and direct marketing.
    • Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.
    • Strong attention to detail and creative passion.
    • Proactive, solutions-driven attitude.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven experience as a creative team (Art Director & Copywriter) in a top-tier agency.
    • Awarded portfolio across multiple channels and categories.
    • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to originate ideas from scratch.
    • Deep understanding of South African culture and mass-market dynamics

    Group Account Director

    Overview

    • We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Group Account Director to join our team. The Group Account Director plays an essential role in servicing the Client by ensuring timeous and accurate execution of briefs, project management of all jobs and the management and tracking of all finances (processing CE’s, billing PO’s, weekly reporting). Attention to detail and strong administrative skills are therefore a critical success factor and requirement for this role.  The successful candidate must demonstrate the skills to be credible at this level, with the ability to problem solve and escalate as needed to the Client Service Director when needed and be able to stay in control of the roll out of Client campaigns.

    Responsibilities

    • To implement and manage as tasked the successful creation, development and roll out of Client marketing communication in an integrated campaign capacity as well as manage all required administrative tasks.

    Champion

    • Ensure delivery of campaigns against agreed timelines and milestones of campaign development and execution
    • Execute integrated campaigns ensuring that our campaigns work across ATL, Digital and BTL.
    • Escalate issues to the Client Service Director as needed, to prevent campaign milestones being missed or budget being negatively impacted
    • Actively pursue opportunities to learn and grow within the portfolio
    • Living shared values and core behaviours of Studio one and Toyota
    • Maintain excellent intercompany and interdepartmental communication and knowledge transfer

    Growth and Profitability

    • Assist the team in identifying and maintaining opportunities for optimization and harmonization / integration of the various departments and Publicis Communications agencies
    • Maintain efficiencies, economies of scale & resource optimization, ensuring jobs are delivered according to the allocated budget

    Talent

    • Act as a role model for Account Management members
    • Support knowledge transfer, knowledge sharing and up skilling through relevant & appropriate learning / teaching channels
    • Strive to learn and grow, pro-actively seek opportunities and become involved in projects outside of allocated tasks

    Operational Excellence

    • Implement, monitor, and manage the workflow process as tasked, escalating to the Client Partner where necessary
    • Proactive management of all project timelines, always ensuring on time and in full delivery of projects
    • Monitor standards by checking all work is on the brief and to the desired quality of level before sending it to client
    • Assist to optimize internal resource allocation and utilization
    • Solid writing, communication and presenting skills in English (a good command of the English language)
    • Weekly management, updating and tracking of finances (CE's, PO's, Billings) and reporting to ensure cashflow management
    • Experience on Chase is preferred
    • Be a strategic partner to your clients, enabling you to guide and drive better work, better business conversations and build business.
    • Financial experience is preferred
    • Have tough and honest conversations with your client to enable your team to deliver excellence and you create trust through positive outcomes.
    • Maintain the integrity of the creative strategy and work throughout the campaign
    • Exceptional management of client expectations
    • Proactive & Solution driven.

    Qualifications

    • Marketing qualification essential
    • 6+ years’ experience in Account Management
    • Experience in the automotive industry
    • You must have experience running jobs, projects and campaigns from start to finish with little senior support
    • Experience on Chase is preferred
    • Financial & budget management experience is preferred
    • Manage up – ensure your seniors are abreast of all activity on the account and empower them to support you through open lines of communication
