    Sales Administrator

    Job Description

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Input pricing into the system

    • Capture, load and input deals into system.
    • Submit weekly pre-pricing to all relevant call centres on a weekly basis
    • Budget management: Candidate must become a key user of the Activity Tracker and take ownership of the claims process from the raising of accrual to capturing actuals
    • Manage and collate price changes and deals, and implement into them the system to reflect between Rainbow and Customers.
    • Assist with customer communication of queries, notifications and changes and channel to relevant individuals.
    • Capture all promotional activity & subsequent forecasted demand onto schedule & communicate it to relevant planner.
    • Maintain electronic and paper-based customer records and information

    • Verify pricing discounts with relevant account manager and implement.
    • Load deals for customer & inquire out of strategy pricing with the National Accounts Manager.
    • On a weekly basis, investigate SAP order discrepancies and liaise with National Account Manager and Channel manager, and implement corrective action

    Claim Management:

    • Receive claims
    • Verify all claims submitted by Vector are price related claims
    • Investigate possible causes of claims, calculate correct costing of claims and confirm values being claimed.
    • Gather all relevant evidence and supporting documentation for valid and invalid claims.
    • Ensure that all claims are updated and submitted timeously to relevant parties.
    • Follow-up with Customers on outstanding invalid claims
    • Ensure that all outstanding claims are signed off and submitted for payments.
    • Clear claims from system within 60 days

    General Administration:

    • Co-ordinate, plan and prepare for all meetings and presentations.
    • Complete reconciliation statements for designated managers
    • Process expense claims for managers (cell phone, excess travel, etc).

    Manage stationery resources.

    • Track and capture team expenditure into the system.
    • Manage and maintain SKU works library to ensure images are up to date and appear online and ensure all new product listings are inputted into the system.

    National SHERQ Co-ordinator

    Job Description    

    • RCL FOODS is on the lookout for a talented National SHERQ Coordinator to join the Centre of Excellence (CoE) SHERQ team at our Head Office in Westville. This role would report to the SHE Compliance Manager. The successful candidate would need to have excellent technical knowledge pertaining to legislation and statutory requirements accompanied by remarkable experience.
    • The SHERQ Coordinator will be required to maintain the CoE SHERQ Total Integrated Management System (FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, ISO 14 001 and ISO 9001) system and support RCL Foods business units and Westville. 

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a FMCG environment with preferably 3 years in an auditing role
    • A tertiary qualification, minimum of a Diploma , Quality Management, Food Technology, Microbiology or Environmental Health

    Route Controller

    The role will be based in Polokwane and report to the Distribution Manager.     Job Description    

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality Control Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and supporting both internal and external audits.     Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12
    • N3 as a minimum. N4 to N6 would be preferred.

    • In order to be considered for selection, candidates need to be in possession of a Grade 12 with at least a N2 qualification or NCV level 3, N3 and above qualification will be an advantage.
    • General Knowledge of conveyor belts, wire meshes modular belts, bearings, make use mechanical/ electrical tools.

    • The purpose of the Role is to to excel in preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial reports to guide strategic decisions. They will be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting and data representation, showcasing exceptional analytical skills, critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving. The candidate should be comfortable presenting financial trends to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Minimum Tertiary qualification in a finance related field, including commercial costing, people management and some exposure to processing or manufacturing environments.
    • SAICA qualified/CIMA qualified or studying towards CIMA desirable. 
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience within an FMCG environment.
    • SAP experience advantageous

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Team Leadership:

    • Coach and support team members where necessary to achieve objectives.
    • Manage leave and general time management issues in line with organisational deliverables.

    Capex:

    • Assist with preparation and follow up on Capex motivations.
    • Report on monthly capex spend vs. budget and forecasted spend

    Budgeting/Target setting:

    • Assist Commercial manager with site insights and issues that might impact results.
    • Assist with preparation of quarterly forecasts in conjunction with Commercial Manager
    • Evaluate and report on deviations versus forecast/target

    Reporting:
    MACS: 

    • Maintain MACS tables
    • Ensure accurate monthly input
    • Balancing of monthly results
    • Reporting on material usage variances
    • Implementing controls to eliminate/reduce variances
    • Prepare and review monthly customer and SKU profitability
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards.
    • Obtain input and commentary on performance, progress and reasons for variances, where relevant.
    • Ensure all management tools (management accounts) are accurate and complete
    • Ensure and manage GL accounts and other system information to ensure accuracy and integrity of data 
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Capital expenditure reporting
    • Continuously improve reporting processes and systems.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
    • Monthly Operating Unit Performance Report
    • Assist with conducting stock take reporting and analysis.
    • Ad hoc commercial reporting and tasks

    NPD:

    • Prepare costings on all NPD Projects and establish viability before product gets launched.
    • Provide onsite insights into new product development with support 
    • Identify cost improvement opportunities of NPD in order to drive higher margins.

    Systems Management:

    • Manage the health of MACS.

    Operational Management:

    • Manages direct report on a daily basis.
    • Drive a high-performance culture with attention to accuracy and timeliness. 
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure each team member is aligned business strategy.
    • Analyse any variances outside expectations and implement corrective actions where necessary.
    • Analyse monthly expenses and identify cost saving opportunities.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Assist Continuous Improvement Specialist with assessment of cost saving initiatives
    • Assist in developing a base for measuring implemented initiatives to be able to compare actual cost savings to estimates
    • Report on tracking of implemented initiatives to Centre of Excellence

    Business Risks:

    • Manage the business risk for the following areas together with IT:
    • IT Hardware
    • IT Software – Staff Data, SAP, MACS, Smart Tech

    Information and Data Management:

    • Ensure that the data captured into the relevant systems are accurate and free from any material misstatement.

    Projects:

    • Support cost savings or cost optimisation opportunities in order to reduce costs.

    Technical Expertise: 

    • Provide technical expertise and training to internal customers and colleagues

    Quality Intern

    Job Description    

    • To monitor Food Safety (HACCP & GMPs) and manage quality standards in production process through identification and correction of non-compliances .  Monitor the verification activities of the Food safety system. Conduct inspections as per internal audit plan . Investigate customer complaints .Conduct mock recall, Ad-hoc duties

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric with Maths and Science
    • Studying towards a Diploma in Food Science or Technology/Microbiology/Biotechnology or related
    • Requires 1 year or more years of In-service training or work place experince in order to graduate
    • In-depth knowledge of quality control in food manufacturing
    • Food Technology, HACCP and GMP knowledge

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Monitor online quality by carrying out inspections on on-line activities and completion of necessary check sheets.
    • Conduct glass and bristle plastic checks
    • Conduct shelf-life checks on all filling
    • Verification of all CCP’s and OPRP’s
    • Ensure rejected product is safely isolated, safely disposed and documented
    • Ensure retention samples are properly managed
    • Conduct locker and toolbox inspection
    • Ensure that GMP’s are followed
    • Monitor of process control sheets for completion and timeous submission
    • Monitor labelling and coding on product from receipt to finished product in accordance with traceability system
    • Report deviations through NCR system and advise of the necessary corrective actions to Processing and Engineering when required
    • Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions and escalates to higher authority if not actioned
    • Observe employees on the line adherence to ISO, GMP and HACCP practices and advises on necessary corrective action required when contravened
