• RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable and well-established multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm in Gauteng is seeking a Senior Professional Architect to lead complex projects and mentor junior team members.
• As the Senior Professional Architect, you will play a key leadership role in the design, documentation, and delivery of architectural projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, liaise with clients and authorities, and ensure each project meets the highest standards of functionality, aesthetics, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process from concept through to construction
• Manage full architectural project lifecycles including planning, design development, documentation, and contract administration
• Mentor and oversee junior architects
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure integrated project delivery
• Conduct client presentations, manage expectations, and maintain strong professional relationships
• Ensure compliance with SACAP regulations, national building regulations (NBR), and municipal by-laws
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
• Oversee submissions to local authorities and manage approval processes

Requirements:

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
• Registered as a Professional Architect with SACAP (Compulsory)
• Minimum 8–10 years post-qualification experience, with proven experience managing large-scale or complex projects
• Strong design sensibility, technical detailing skills, and documentation accuracy
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and rendering software (e.g., Lumion, SketchUp, Enscape)
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, SANS standards, and construction practices in South Africa
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables effectively

Benefits:

• Salary:  R600K – R720K CTC per annum

• RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established construction company in South Africa, is seeking an experienced Site Agent in Cape Town to lead and manage site operations from start to finish.
• As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities on-site. You will manage teams, subcontractors, materials, budgets, timelines, and ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
• Interpret project drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Manage site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress reports to senior management.
• Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, deliveries, and inspection logs.
• Identify and resolve on-site problems or delays.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Building/BTech degree in Construction Management or similar
• Between 5 and 10 years’ experience in a Site Agent or similar supervisory role
• Proven track record managing construction projects from start to finish
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and construction software tools
• Valid driver’s license and own transport

Job Description

• RPO Recruitment's client, a leading and reputable construction company in South Africa is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join their construction team on one of their latest projects in Bethlehem, Free State.
• The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring occupational health and safety procedures on our building sites to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and other relevant legislation.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure that safety practices are adhered to by all workers, subcontractors, and visitors on site.
• Report and investigate any incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and inductions for new employees and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety records, documentation, and incident reports for compliance and audit purposes.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and management to ensure a culture of safety is maintained across all operations.
• Ensure the correct use of PPE and that all safety signage is displayed and up to date.
• Liaise with local authorities and ensure all construction activities comply with statutory safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate
• SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or equivalent Health and Safety qualification
• Valid registration with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) as a Safety Officer is highly desirable
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry, preferably in building projects
• Solid understanding of OHSA and construction site safety practices
• Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid South African driver’s license
