    AssureCloud Procurement Specialist, Midrand

    Responsibilities:

    Procurement & Sourcing

    • Manage all procurement activities across the business unit

    Develop and implement sourcing strategies for:

    • Laboratory consumables
    • Equipment
    • Calibration services
    • Conduct supplier identification, evaluation and onboarding
    • Perform market analysis and price benchmarking

     Supplier & Contract Management

    • Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing and terms
    • Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    • Monitor vendor performance and address non-conformances
    • Conduct regular supplier reviews and contract renewals

    Cost Management & Reporting

    • Monitor procurement spend against budget and identify variances
    • Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality
    • Prepare procurement reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
    • Analyse spend and track savings achieved

     Operations & Compliance

    Ensure compliance with:

    • South African procurement legislation
    • Internal procurement policies
    • Accreditation and client requirements
    • Manage the procure-to-pay process with Finance
    • Maintain supplier database and compliance documentation
    • Process purchase orders in line with financial controls

    Stakeholder & Risk Management

    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continuity of supply
    • Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies
    • Support tender processes with supplier quotations and cost inputs
    • Handle procurement queries efficiently and professionally
    • Improve procurement systems, processes and controls
    • Maintain accurate records of contracts, SLAs and transactions

    Requirements

    Qualification:

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics
    • CIPS qualification (minimum Level 3 or 4)

    Experience:

    5–7 years’ procurement experience within:

    • TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification)
    • Laboratories or professional services environments

    Proven experience in:

    • Supplier sourcing and negotiation
    • Contract and SLA management
    • Cost savings and budget control
    • Experience with multi-site operations is advantageous
    • Knowledge of South African procurement regulations and BBBEE is beneficial
    • Experience with ERP/procurement systems and Excel

    AssureCloud Food Auditor, East London

    Responsibilities:

    Conduct Food Safety inspections

    • Conduct regular on-site inspections of various food establishments, including restaurants, food processing facilities, retail stores, and other food-related premises.
    • Evaluate food handling, preparation, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with legal and client specific requirements.

    Audit Compliance

    • Verify that food establishments adhere to established food safety and hygiene guidelines, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles, and industry standards.
    • Review documentation and records related to food safety, such as temperature logs, cleaning schedules, employee training records, and pest control reports.
    • Working to procedures the auditor will be required to undertake detailed evaluations of food premises, procedures, and practices against pre-determined standards.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections and follow-up actions.
    • Comply with the required turn-around time as per client standard.

    Training and Education

    • Conduct training sessions and workshops for food establishment staff on food safety best practices, proper hygiene procedures, and regulatory compliance.
    • Provide guidance and support to food businesses to help them improve their food safety and hygiene practices.

    Communication and Collaboration

    • Communicate inspection results and recommendations to relevant client representatives, management teams, and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with other food safety professionals to exchange information and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

    Stay informed about Regulations

    • Keep abreast of the latest developments in food safety regulations and industry standards.
    • Continuously update knowledge and skills to maintain expertise in the field.

    Audit & Consultation Delivery

    • Conduct HSE/OHS, legal, client‑specific, and limited‑scope audits in line with the NOSA 10‑Step methodology.
