Support of Information Delivery production environment

•  Understanding the current product environment and maintaining it
•  Contribute to Standby roster to ensure on-going delivery of current information to the business on time
•  Effectively collecting & sourcing information and then correctly transforming & auditing this information
•  Accurately publishing the information
•  Appropriate resolution of production issues to ensure that information is delivered according to user expectations
•  Continuously identifying and improving processes & procedures to minimise negative impact to data and business reporting
•  Monitoring of the environment to proactively engage in preventative activities and to maintain an environment that is easy to understand and troubleshoot

Deliver data & information (projects, quick wins)

•  Understanding business data and information requirements
•  Delivering data and information to the business in line with business priorities, according to quality standards, within the agreed time constraints and according to departmental coding practice & standards
•  Being involved in the process of populating new data within the Data Warehouse
•  Logical and Physical design of fact and dimensions and transformation processes
•  Taking over information delivery tasks from other areas of the business

User Support

•  Provide support service to users on data and information to satisfy user needs

Qualifications

•  Relevant 3 year IT degree/diploma

Experience & Skills

•  4-5 Years’ DTS experience and have worked with the new SSIS
•  Advanced or expert level in SQL, writing stored procedures and general scripting
•  Experience building and maintaining OLAP cubes in Analysis Services 2005 and 2008
•  Experience in reporting services 2005 and have developed reports
•  Experience of datawarehouse design
•  Test Methodologies
•  Data warehousing skills
•  Retail experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of the needs of our buyers and sellers through product discovery

• Develop storyboards and mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas (including low and high-fidelity UI)

• Drive continual usability testing by defining scripts, building prototypes and conducting interviews

• Partner closely with product managers, engineers,analysts and marketing to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges and ensure that product aligns with brand identity

Requirements

Must haves

• 4+ years experience in Product Design within an agile environment

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, UX or a related field

• Track record of successfully solving complex and ambiguous customer problems through Lean UX

• Experience in design- and interaction patterns for websites and mobile apps

• Strong focus on usability with a customer-centric mindset

• Ability to quickly deliver prototypes and wireframes

• Familiarity with user research and user testing methodologies

• A solid grasp of user-centric design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, rapid prototyping and heuristic analysis

• Experience with design software such as Figma, InVision, etc

My client is looking for a UX Designer to improve their customer journey across the business which focusses on Education through Experience. We want someone who is passionate about creating seamless, delightful online experiences in a way that resonates with how Gen Z uses the internet and consumes media.

Responsibilities…

● Developing and updating customer profiles / personas so we stay in touch with the needs of our core customers.

● Improving conversion rates across our web journey, from website to program application to payment, in collaboration with our software development and marketing teams.

● Looking at both videos of user behavior on our web platforms and quantitative heat maps to identify bottlenecks and usability issues.

● Producing wireframes and prototypes in tools such as InVision or Figma that are on-brand, work across screen sizes, and can be easily implemented on the live site.

● Running UI and UX experiments to validate that changes are having a positive impact with data.

● Create a UX process so that we can rapidly make changes to our customerjourney or web experience as needed, without affecting the conversion rate. JD:

● You have at least 3 years of experience in a UX related role.

● You can produce live prototypes using InVision, Figma, or a similar tool
