    Artisan - Diesel Mechanic S2

    The Role

    • Provides technical support in mechanical maintenance. Maintains and improves machines and equipment to increase or maintain a high level of reliability, availability, cost efficiency and performance.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Mechanical maintenance operations.

    Field Service Foreman - RTV - M1

    The Role:

    • The Service Contract Foreman position seeks an ideal candidate with proficiency in the manufacturing or rebuild process for continuous miners, along with experience in other underground mining equipment. Specializing in the repair and maintenance of continuous miners used in underground mining operations is crucial. This role carries the primary responsibility of overseeing the operational functionality of the workshop. Key objectives include ensuring the designated production area meets predefined goals related to safety, quality outcomes, production volume, staffing levels, and on-time delivery.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Responsible for the employees, machines, and methods.
    • Responsible for reaching tactical targets.
    • Ensure staff competence and that work is done according to the agreed procedures and routines.
    • Lead and distributes work in the production area.
    • Responsible for personnel in areas such as rehabilitation and workforce planning, ensures compliance with all employment, health, and safety laws.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the assembly team. Monitor and analyse team performance against set KPIs.
    • Responsible for Field Service Support on all underground soft rock machinery. 
    • Responsible for all machinery and equipment in the production area.
    • Responsible for the development of a yearly budget, ongoing expense tracking and cost saving initiatives.

    Product and Applications Manager -M3

    The Role

    • To provide technical support per product line, introduction of new products, ongoing information regarding product performance and recommendations to improve performance, ownership of product line market share and to develop effective sales strategy per product line.     Service Technician - Workshop x4 (S3)

    The Role:

    • To service and/or maintain Mining equipment through machine availability, customer relation and safety, health and environmental effectiveness.
    • This service is rendered to Sandvik clients (internal and external) this position is for a Service Technician position permanent on site, representing all Sandvik fleet. (D25KX and DI650i Drills)

    • Install, repair, inspect and commission products and equipment of different kind at customer site or own premises.

    Product Specialist - S4

    The Role

    • As a Product Specialist you will be responsible for providing quality technical support and for developing the technical competencies of the customer and internal personnel. The role is product focused and concentrates on providing guidance and advice on the implementation and strategies for the product range.  Product specifications, selection and its application lie with this role

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and organize product training for sales and service personnel for the respective products
    • Provide technical training to the service network and customer base on proper operation, maintenance and troubleshooting practices

    The Role:

    • This position is for an OCS Technician (Operations Control System Technician) To provides technical support to Production/Planning department/Technical department on a variety of technical tasks to achieve improvements in production and operation processes.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Conducts analyses and prepares reports using metrics from salvage tracking, trending, reporting and root cause analyses.
    • Maintains process designs to optimize process and facility use while conforming to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
