    Export Sales Manager

    What will you be doing?

    • As an Export Manager, you will lead and optimise our international distributor network, driving strategic growth and operational excellence across global markets.
    • You will play a pivotal role in enhancing distributor performance, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that our international operations deliver measurable business impact.

    What will you need to be successful?

    • Define and monitor KPIs for distributor partners, including sales targets, market share growth, and compliance metrics.
    • Ensure timely, compliant export processes in coordination with logistics providers and distributors.
    • Develop onboarding programs and training to accelerate distributor readiness.
    • Identify underperforming territories and recommend new market entry strategies.
    • Collaborate on product launches and campaigns within distributor channels.
    • Serve as the primary contact between distributors and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and issue resolution.

    Successful candidates would need the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related field
    • 5–8 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in medical devices
    • Strong understanding of international trade, logistics, and market dynamics
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Highly organised, analytical, and results-driven
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%

    Marketing Specialist: Trauma

    What will you be doing? 

    • The role will be responsible for the profitable marketing of all Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics Trauma and Clinical Therapies products and the attainment of short-term agreed sales and profit targets, as well as devising and implementing marketing strategies that will ensure the short, medium and long-term profitability of the products within the portfolio. 

    What will you need to be successful? 

    • Establish and nurture the relationship between Key Contacts and Smith & Nephew and commercialise these relationships. 
    • Experience in establishing ongoing educational programmes on the Orthopaedic Trauma product portfolio and co-ordinating the programmes through academic and non-academic outlets throughout the country. 
    • Experience in the formulation and implementation of short-, medium- and long-term strategic plans for brands 
    • The ability to keep abreast of local and international developments and trends in the marketplace. 
    • Experience in compiling, presenting, and managing annual sales budgets. 
    • Good customer relations and providing support to the sales force. 

    Successful candidates would need the following: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare and marketing. 
    • 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry.

    Surgical Assistant

    What will you be doing?

    • The role forms part of the Reconstruction Division and is responsible for the successful promotion and sales of a specific product range to Orthopaedic Surgeons. The continuing customer support, correct application and usage of these products in the sales territory allocated to the incumbent is paramount. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager responsible for the allocated territory.

    What will you need to be successful?

    • To support the sales team in theatre by covering cases.  
    • Build and maintain strong relations with customers.
