ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

• As a Supervisor Production Treatment & Services, you will be responsible to supervise the safe execution of production and logistics activities undertaken by front-line operational personnel and lead in line with the schedule, standards and performance targets for People, HSECQ, Volume & Cost.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Provide day-to-day supervision, expertise and direction to a Production team within an operation area to ensure delivery against plans;
• Supervise and lead the execution of the production plan in order to achieve established performance targets;
• Ensure Production employees and contractors adhere to work standards, are competent, and understand the purpose and functionality of critical controls relevant to their work;
• Supervise, coach and mentor employees to deliver performance by setting Key Performance Indicators, conducting performance reviews and creating personal development plans;
• Contribute to building a cohesive working environment;
• Provide relevant and specialised technical support, where required, to peers and colleagues to ensure the achievement of objectives;
• Identify and develop cost-effective processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost drivers;
• Continuously review cost vs. benefit and report recommendations.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in Production / Industrial area experience of which 1 year in a supervisory capacity in a production field;
• Experience in the operation of GTC, FTC and Bath Plants would be advantageous;
• Be prepared to work shifts if needed;
• Perform standby duties from time to time as required by the organization;
• Computer literacy (MS Office).

Qualifications for this role are:

• Degree or National Diploma in a Technical field study;
• Valid trade would be advantageous.

• As a Maintenance Controller, you will be responsible to develop and communicate the plans and schedules for an Operation / Operation area in accordance with the SAP Work Management processes.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Facilitate the weekly prioritisation and the resource levelling meetings to ensure alignment of all work management activities to production or other operational plans;
• Create and plan SAP work orders that enable effective deployment of work management resources, including personnel, service providers and materials;
• Develop and communicate accurate weekly work schedules reflecting all work management activities within budget for cost and vendor targets, ensuring that they are adequately resource levelled and aligned to the corresponding 12-week planning window;
• Managing the ordering and delivery of materials for the planned work;
• Request work management master data changes as required, based on equipment strategy reviews, failure analysis and identified quality errors;
• Develop secondary task lists for relevant reoccurring work to support effective planning and safe execution;
• Execute the planning and scheduling functions and requirements for Shared Resource Work teams, internal and external;
• Conduct SAP training / coaching of maintenance departments and other sub functions;
• Conduct SAP training / coaching of maintenance departments and other sub functions;
• Assist Supervisor Maintenance with the re-scheduling of planned maintenance activities; cost and vendor number forecast and feedback;
• Identify system generated work orders that must be cancelled and not to be executed to the Specialist Analysis and Improvement;
• Review and analyse work management metrics to ensure compliance to the SAP processes. Tracking of high-risk activity for safe execution.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in heavy industry;
• Working experience on SAP is essential;
• Experience in work management is advantageous;
• Working experience on MS Projects is advantageous.

Qualifications for this role are:

• N6 National Technical Diploma with a valid Trade Test.
