    General Manager

    • An established international shipping and logistics company is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager with extensive RoRo and Breakbulk expertise to join their team based in Umhlanga.

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Lead the operations and oversee new business development projects
    • Develop and execute the strategic plans in alignment with the company objectives
    • Represent the company in high-level engagements with Principals, Industry Associations & Port Operations.
    • Monitor and respond to all relevant developments impacting business operations internally & externally.
    • Working closely with Head of Departments and other senior staff to improve efficiency and performance
    • Lead the SSA team including managing the performance of the staff
    • Provide high level reporting on a regular basis
    • Travel for business operations when required

    Requirements: 

    • MS Office Suite
    • 10yrs + experience in a Senior Manager role
    • Vast knowledge in ships Agency
    • Relevant Shipping Qualification or Business Management Degree
    • Experience in RoRo and BreakBulk is essential
    • Excellent strategic thinking and planning
    • Understanding of budget management and financial monitoring
    • Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
    • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
    • Good organization and time management, including the ability to work well in high-pressure situations with tight deadlines
    • Strong analytical thinking skills
    • In-depth knowledge of the industry and managerial strategies
    • Must be willing to travel to other regions for work purposes

    Trusts and Compliance Administrator

    • Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Trust Administrator & Compliance Administrator to join their team based in Bryanston.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Administer client trusts.
    • Draft and review trust deeds.
    • Draft trust resolutions.
    • Prepare trustee meeting packs.
    • Attend trustee meetings.
    • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
    • Handle ad hoc client requests.
    • Draft local and offshore wills.
    • Manage client FICA documentation and FICA compliance.
    • Maintain and submit Master's UBO registers.
    • Submit amendments, registrations, and terminations at the Master's Office.
    • Process and maintain client data accurately.
    • Build and maintain client relationships.
    • Prepare FICA packs.
    • Maintain filing systems.
    • Clean up and implement administrative processes.

    Requirements:

    • 2–5 years' industry experience.
    • Previous work experience is essential.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word.
    • Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
    • Degrees, diplomas, or relevant courses will be advantageous.
    • Courses in trusts, estates, wills, and related fields will be advantageous.
    • Excellent writing and drafting skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Hard-working and able to work independently.
    • A good cultural fit within a small, close-knit team.
    • Ability to work closely with the entire team.
