What are you going to do?

Pricing

• Responsible for managing and creating contracts and price lists for our customers.
• Responsible for quarterly pricing review and update of customer pricelists in close collaboration with management team
• Responsible for sending out quarterly pricelists to customers.
• Responsible for quarterly pricing review letter to customers in consultation with procurement
• Responsible for the pricing component of Must-Win tender process as well as margin management
• Responsible for pricing related questions or queries
• Responsible for intercompany (IC) pricing in M3 ERP system
• Define and agree on pricing principles in close collaboration with Sales Manager, General Manager and Finance Controller
• Optimize sales margin in line with set strategy in close collaboration with management team.
• Optimize and safeguard the sales profit of the different product-customer groups.
• E-commerce support
• In this role, you will advocate for pricing process improvements together with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Quoting

• Maintain pricelists for standard products as well as raw materials.
• Responsible for quoting of standard and custom manufactured products to customers.
• Responsible for quoting on raw material sales to customers.
• Responsible for maintaining excel pricelists were necessary.

ERP System

• Responsible for maintaining the correct prices (including surcharges transport rates and discounts) in our ERP system and for sending prices to our customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain the Harmonised Pricing Model in the ERP system as well as periodic review of margins.
• Maintain Assortments & Costing modules.
• Responsible for pricing administration and data entry related to pricing into the ERP system
• Ensuring that raw material pricelist is correct in the ERP system
• Maintain Feed Additive and Young Animal Feed prices in the ERP system in consultation with Product Managers
• Periodic review of Sales Profits including monthly EAAC effect
• Maintain customer ABC ranking as well as identify customers with sales profits at risk

Reporting and analysis

• Responsible for sales margin reporting and investigation of loss-making products
• Analysis and examining industry standards or trends and pricing strategies of competitors as well as monitoring of feed price movements.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce
• Computer literacy (Excel advanced skills)
• Experience in ERP systems
• 3-4 year’s related experience in Pricing in related industry
• Excellent communicator with analytical skills

Job Description: 

What are you going to do?

•  Ensures formulation of established and new rations and premixes using our formulation software in accordance with nutritional values, customer requirements, new R&D information, and legal guidelines.
•  Formulates premixes and rations to maximize growth, reproduction, health and/or performance.
•  Translating research findings and practical experiences into the ruminant portfolio
•  Providing support and expertise in the area of ruminant nutrition to the marketing, technical and sales employees
•  Contributing to product development by introducing new nutritional concepts
•  Responsible for quality control, analysis and interpretation of trial data and preparations of final reports
•  Assists in managing and developing protocols, data and reports of all research and trials, as well as interactions with marketing to develop and leverage resulting data into sales.
•  Keeps track of new nutrition developmentsand innovations of  applicable R&D groups and companies outside Nutreco
•  Coordination and review of nutritional, quality and feed safety aspects and feed manufacturing implications of new and existing products with both internal and external groups
•  Supports the Ruminant team lead or marketing department in development of training, marketing, and sales materials for all related ruminant products.
•  Knowledge transfer and technical support to the sales and technical teams
•  Calculates and assesses the relative nutritional/technical values of various feeds, ingredients (feed/premix) for quality and technical services purposes.
•  Utilize specialist computer software to devise diets and compose reports and recommendations.
•  Advising sales and marketing  with regards to complex but known nutritional problems

What you bring

• B.S.c Agric / animal science , Master degree preferable.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge in feed nutrition, premix and additives
• Market understanding
• Experience with formulation software
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good statistical and analytical skills
• Willing to travel to different customers
• Professional SACNASP registration
