Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual who would like to facilitate production processes and assist the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities    

• Co-ordinate upcoming delivery dates with the current 18 CMTs in accordance with TDC dates and the Master Plan.
• Book and maintain a delivery times schedule with QA Field Auditors.
• Crises manage delivery delays timeously to reduce the impact on the contracted TDC dates.
• Ensure timeous submission of Pricing Samples.
• Co-ordinate delivery times and available truck space with Finished Goods Manager.
• Escalate any delivery concerns or risk of delays to Senior Planner and Operations Manager.
• Improve on current Delivery schedule to ensure user-friendly and update to date information for viewing by the entire production team.
• General administrative duties.
• Monitor the cutting of styles released into production on pre-determined timeline, to reduce the risk of delays which will impact the contracted TDC dates.
• Implement and maintain a cut figure monitoring system.
• Escalate non-compliant CMTs to Senior Planner and Operations Manager for review.
• Work hand-in-hand at CMT invoicing time with Planner to ensure accurate information is received and carried over to Management to process CMT invoices.

Qualifications and Experience    
Minimum 

• Grade 12;
• Computer Literate (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.);
• Good communication skills (written and verbal);
• Strong administrative skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• High energy levels and self- motivated;
• Attention to detail and accuracy;

• Should have a keen interest in garment production and be willing to learn about production planning, critical path management and liaising with colleagues and suppliers.

Job Description    

• The Creditors Clerk forms an integral part of the Trade Creditors team and is responsible for validating all local suppliers’ invoices against stock received to initiate monthly payments. You will be responsible to ensure that payments are paid as per agreed payment terms per supplier. We are looking for a detail orientated team player who can meet deadlines and solve problems by keeping calm and communicating effectively.

Key Responsibilities    

• Reporting to the Creditors supervisor, the primary responsibility is to ensure:
• Specified suppliers’ invoices are validated for payment;
• Monthly reconciliations for payment;
• Daily stock import into Oracle financial system;
• Sorting out discrepancies with suppliers, stores and Elements department;
• Resolving daily Creditor queries and ensuring query resolution register is followed up;
• Processing of credit and debit adjustment vouchers;
• Processing of stock adjustments;
• Liaise with Elements department and suppliers on cost price variances.

Qualifications and Experience    

• Matric plus solid work experience;
• Creditors experience essential;
• Understanding of accounts and creditors reconciliation process;
• Experience within a team dynamic would be advantageous;
• Experience in Oracle Financials preferable;
• Retail industry experience will be advantageous;
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Purpose of the job:
This senior role will challenge you to apply your significant and professional retail operational experience, skills and energy to develop and grow this fast expanding operations zone.

Reporting into the Director: Retail Operations you will need to bring your proven experience, influence and enthusiasm so that you can actively develop and grow a Regional Management team and significantly add value to the performance of existing fast growing stores and have the energy and strategic leadership to manage numerous new store developments.

Qualifications and Experience  

•  As a senior leader, experience of at least 15 or more years in a senior fashion retail operations role is critical.
• Preferably a business related qualification, Diploma or Degree (Tertiary)
• Extensive experience in the retail fashion industry within a multi-brand environment
• Experience in implementing strategies and vision
