    Manager, SSA Enabler Partnerships

    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Achieve or exceed sales targets for Visa Direct Enablers in Sub-Saharan Africa.
    • Partner with local VD team and country managers to meet annual sales goals.
    • Manage the full sales cycle with Enablers: prospecting, deal structuring, and contracting and launch.
    • Develop sales strategies for acceleration, including identifying high-potential clients, use cases, and verticals.
    • Lead generation and prospecting programs, respond to new leads.
    • Drive key workstreams for Visa Direct growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Legal, Client Services, Operations).
    • Educate clients about benefits of Visa Direct by conducting the meetings, workshops and events
    • Communicate progress and growth externally (PR, conferences, events).
    • Ensure appropriate incentive structures and contract approvals with all stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Global)
    • Handoff from sale to implementation with Client Services.
    • Prospect non-Visa clients, build relationships, and sell where appropriate VD non-FI license.
    • Identify and sell to processors, remitters, fintechs, payfacs and aggregators to add Visa Direct to their offerings.
    • Capture client feedback on products and services, share insights with Visa teams.

    This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.  ​

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
    • Minimum 5 years of industry experience (Senior FI Relationship Manager, Cross-border payments, Lead for Partnerships, Senior Transaction Banking FI Sales).
    • Creative self-starter with a bias toward action and a proven track record in developing, launching, and commercializing technology products.
    • Excellent problem-solving, listening, and communication skills (verbal and written), executive presence.
    • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Demonstrated thought leadership and creativity in product innovation.
    • Passion for transforming payments and working for an industry leader.
    • High professionalism and leadership skills to build trust and respect with partners and suppliers.
    • Strong team player, self-motivated, able to work independently and coordinate cross-functional activities.
    • Visa or financial or payment industry knowledge required, push payments or real-time payments experience is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel to relevant Sub-Saharan markets as required.

    Senior Manager, Business Process And Operations SEA

    Job Description

    • This role partners with business development, strategy, and functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making, performance management, strategy enablement and commercial growth. The individual will leverage advanced analytics, financial modelling, decision support and strategic insights as an enabler to business planning, resource allocation, frontline sales and cross-functional initiatives across diverse markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    Business Analysis & Reporting

    • Deliver actionable insights through robust data analysis, dashboards, and performance reports for senior management and cross-functional teams.
    • Conduct deep dives into markets, clients, products, and revenue streams to identify growth opportunities and gaps to targets.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and present market profitability and sales performance reports, highlighting trends and key drivers.
    • Design and implement reporting tools to transform complex data into concise, commercial narratives for stakeholders.
    • Track market dynamics and Visa’s market share, triggering competitive responses where relevant.

    Performance Management & Strategy

    • Support annual operating planning, resource allocation, and governance frameworks for regional leadership.
    • Facilitate best-practice sharing and adoption of strategic account management tools
    • Lead or contribute to market research, financial modelling, and scenario analysis to inform strategic decisions.

    Stakeholder Engagement & Project Management

    • Manage relationships with cross-border stakeholders, including business development, finance, and operations teams.
    • Coordinate and deliver presentations, training, and workshops to enhance data literacy and performance culture.
    • Drive project execution, ensuring timely delivery against tight deadlines and complex requirements.

    Commercial Acumen & Problem Solving

    • Apply strong commercial understanding to assess opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and recommend fact-based solutions.
    • Operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

    • MBA, CFA qualification preferred but not essential
    • Advanced numeracy, analytical, quantitative, and modelling skills; expert in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and project management tools.
    • Proven problem-solving ability, intellectual rigor, and commercial mindset.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to influence and engage senior stakeholders across regions.
    • Self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage complexity and ambiguity.
    • Experience working in global or multi-national environments, collaborating across borders and cultures.
    • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, facilitate decisions, and drive change in a matrix organization.
