Position overview:

• As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of branches and pods.
• Your duties include general handyman work, minor electrical repairs, painting, welding, grinding, and furniture maintenance.
• You will also be tasked with high-access cleaning and pod maintenance, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and functional.
• You will also be required to travel extensively between branches and buying pods, as well as across provinces.

Responsibilities:

General Handyman and Repair Work:

• Perform small maintenance tasks at branches and pods.

Electrical Repairs:

• Conduct general electrical repairs as needed.

Painting:

• Handle various painting tasks, ensuring a neat and professional finish.

Welding:

• Perform welding tasks as required.

Grinding:

• Carry out grinding functions with precision.

Concrete Wall Touch-ups:

• Perform touch-ups and repairs on concrete walls.

Furniture Maintenance:

• Maintain and repair furniture to ensure it is in good condition.
• Door hinges repair/replace or door handles and locks repair/replace.

High Access Cleaning at Branches:

Clean and maintain high-access areas, including, but not limited to:

• Walls
• Wall-mounted posters
• Lights
• Pillars
• Cameras
• Speakers
• TVs
• Windows
• Pods

Pod Maintenance:

• Conduct thorough cleaning of pods, both interior and exterior and furniture.
• Sweep and maintain paving areas around pods.
• Any additional requests as required.
• You will also be required to report daily to the regional or national facilities manager on tasks done, tasks that you cannot do, or anything else that might be out of the ordinary regarding work, security risks, or health and safety risks at branches.

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12
• English literate (strong verbal and written English skills)
• Experience in the same/similar role is advantageous
• Valid driver's License

Wash Bay Attendant Requirements:

Requirements / Personal Attributes:

Duties:

• Wash, clean, and detail vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles, both interior and exterior, to maintain their appearance and condition
• Familiarize oneself with various vehicle models and their specific cleaning and detailing requirements
• Maintain and clean all washing and detailing equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition
• Report any equipment issues to the supervisor
• Adhere to environmental and safety regulations when handling chemicals, disposing of waste, and performing cleaning tasks
• Ensure the highest quality of vehicle cleaning and detailing services are provided to meet or exceed expectations
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently

• Assist our F&I consultants with various admin duties
• Assist in loading Finance Applications

• Assist with explaining the costs, terms and contractual obligations of any finance transactions
• Assist with explaining to the customers all products and services on offer
• Compile and submit files with required documentation to financial institutions
• Ensure that all transactions are followed up and paid out as soon as possible

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• NCA Certificate
• Preferably a BCom degree or Diploma
• Excellent administrative, organizing and communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport
• Willing to work two weekends per month and some public holidays

• Main Purpose of this job: To professionally handle the financial aspect of We Buy Cars’ clients’ when buying a used vehicle.
• This can only be done by a suitably qualified and appointed representative.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take over the financial aspects of vehicle transactions from the Sales Executives
• Submit applications to the banks
• Effectively manages the processing of finance applications and maximize profitability for the dealer in placing the business at the most favorable return
• Explain offerings and recommend products to meet the needs of the client
• Ensuring clients are given advice to make informed decisions
• Understanding and complying with regulations that affect the used-vehicle and finance departments
