Key performance areas:

• To support and guide the examination, registration, maintenance and amendment of business rescue and financial assurance practitioners in accordance with approved guidelines, operating policies and procedures, and set norms and standards;
• To provide inputs into and implement approved operating policies, procedures and processes relating to examination, registration, maintenance and amendment of business rescue and financial assurance practitioners;
• To receive and resolve client’s queries pertaining to business rescue and financial assurance practitioners;
• Applicants may, as a step in the recruitment process, be subjected to competency assessment. In addition, the successful candidate must be prepared to undergo a process of security clearance prior to appointment.
• Qualifications and SA citizenship checks will be conducted on the successful candidate. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Requirements

Required Minimum Education/training:

• National Diploma or Degree

Required Minimum Experience:

• 5 years experience in the administration of companies and close corporation legislation
• 3 years practical experience in Business Rescue area

Required Minimum Education/Training:

• Degree/ Diploma in Project Management (with a specialization in either Software Development or Infrastructure Management or Security or any ICT related domain)
• Demonstrated understanding and implementation of PMBOK and Agile Project Management Frameworks
• Demonstrated understanding and of Project Management principles, tools, techniques and  knowledge

Required Minimum Experience:

• 5 – 7 years of experience in project management (3 years leading ICT project implementation teams)

WHAT IS INTERNSHIP

• As contemplated by Cabinet in December 2002, Internship is a public service graduate work experience programme targeting unemployed graduates. It gives students workplace experience or an opportunity to practice the work skills that they have studied and will practice in the future.

Beneficiaries of the Internship programme:

• Unemployed South African graduates from higher education institutions who have completed their degrees/diplomas.
• Unemployed graduates who have not been exposed to work experience related to the area of study that they have completed.
• Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years old.
