    Description

    • Taking of patient orders from the menu

    Case Manager

    Description

    • Assess patient conditions and needs to develop appropriate care plans

    Debtors Clerk

    Description

    • Ensure that all customer accounts are processed timeously and accurately in line with company procedures.
    • Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure that all balances are not outstanding for more than 30 days.
    • Conduct thorough investigations and ensure all credit notes are processed correctly with the necessary authorised signatures.
    • Distribute customer statements via email on the last day of each month.
    • Attend to all customer queries timeously by promptly acknowledging receipt of queries and providing regular updates to customers throughout the process.
    • Prepare and distribute a monthly debtor age analysis report for management and the Pharmacy Accountant, ensuring it reconciles to the Debtors Control Account.
    • Prepare a monthly medical aid age analysis from the admin-e-stator summary.
    • Verify group medical aid income, daily banking, and daily pharmacy cash-ups.
    • Reconcile cash-up summaries to the bank statements and receipt all Doctor EFT payments from the bank statement.
    • Liaise with dispensing staff and doctors regarding outstanding payments and ensure accounts are settled.
    • Charge staff and doctor accounts, file accounts alphabetically and post all receipts accurately.
    • Submit staff account details to the Group Payroll Administrator to process the deductions.
    • Liaise with pharmacies regarding administrative queries and WCA reconciliations.
    • File and scan all relevant documentation and maintain proper records.
    • Assist with bi–annual stock takes.

    Requirements

    • A tertiary qualification will be advantageous
    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Debtors Clerk role

    Clinical Facilitator - Critical Care

    Description

    • Reports to the Nursing Services Manager
    • Responsible for the facilitation of teaching and learning of the theoretical and clinical component in a clinical setting
    • Integral part of the Critical Care team with the primary focus of bed side teaching through demonstration, job shadowing, role modelling mentoring and guidance at the bedside of all processes
    • The integration and mitigation of risk management at the bedside will be a primary objective to reduce risk to the group and improve patient outcomes
    • Provide services for both the in-service and formal clinical training programs through the coordination of learning opportunities, at both the formal and informal level
    • Support evidence-based practice by encouraging participation in research.
    • The Clinical Facilitator will play an integral role in the upskilling of staff to use equipment, ethical and consumables safely in accordance safely in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
    • Assess staff competence according to Groups standards and protocols
    • Plan, prepare, implement, and manage the education and training requirements of new employees and rerouted staff
    • Design and implement CPD program
    • Support and facilitate staff and students to reach specific learning objectives

    Requirements

    • Current registration with SANC as a Registered General Nurse or equivalent qualification.
    • Postgraduate diploma in Medical/Surgical Nursing: General or equivalent as accredited by SANC
    • 5 years proven work experience in a multi-disciplinary Intensive Care Unit including Cardio Thoracic, Neurosurgery, Vascular, General Surgery and Medical is essential.
    • Postgraduate diploma in Nursing Education or equivalent as accredited by SANC
    • Assessorship certified
    • A working knowledge of Trauma, Midwifery and Paediatrics
    • Knowledge of scope of practice of all Nursing categories as well as the regulations of the SANC
    • Previous experience as an educator / facilitator /mentor would be advantageous
