    (Re - Advertisement) Driver X3 Hay Level 9/B2

    Key Performance Areas

    • The transportation of radioactive waste on and off site in which complying with the road
    • Traffic act 1996, radiological specifications and procedure on transportation of dangerous goods and IAEA NECSA SSR-6.
    • The transportation of non-radioactive goods on and off site.
    • Inspection and reporting thus to keep the fleet in a sound mechanical and roadworthy condition.
    • Inspection and reporting on the Pipe Store facility to comply with the license and relevant SHEQ-INS documents.
    • Inspecting drums, which are to be transported to Pelstore for compliance with Pelstore waste acceptance criteria and bar cording.
    • Transporting Spent Fuel Elements
    • Perform AD-HOC tasks.
    • Maintain a safe working environment.
    • Ensure that all safety instructions are adhered to.
    • Ensure that the PPE are used at all relevant times and according to instructions.
    • Ensure that the PPE are kept in acceptable conditions.
    • Perform standby duties.
    • Report all incidents and near misses.
    • Conduct all HSR inspections as per the appointment.
    • Ensure that all Nuclear Safety Requirements are adhered to.
    • Ensure that working areas are kept clean and acceptable.
    • Ensure that all equipment is cleaned and maintained.
    • Comply with NECSA’s safety procedures and policies.
    •  Assembly (SEA) records, other related records and documents in accordance with PDO quality system requirements.
    • Verification the correction of existing waste records in QA records.
    • Preparation and verification of data packs of waste drums destined for disposal
    • Position drums to track ability by using barcode reader and download information into the computer.

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Grade 12
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Valid Code 14 driver’s license and PDP

    Training Officer: Mechanical (Toolmaker)

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Develop and maintain allocated resources

    • Identify and report training equipment defects and ensure that they are always operational and available for training purposes.
    • Ensure that there are always sufficient training consumables through implementation of appropriate stock control processes.
    • Ensure that there is proper housekeeping in their work areas. 

    Implementation of training intervention

    • Prepare appropriate and relevant training equipment for programmes offered.
    • Prepare training plan for the course content and ensure that there are sufficient training material and other relevant documentation in support of the offered course.
    • Prepare and supply assessment material for the offered course.
    • Ensure that all administration associated with the offered course or assessment is completed and submitted to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Prepare presentations for facilitations of offered courses according to the approved curriculum.
    • Ensure that all training always achieves the set outcomes of the programme.
    • Mentor, coach and guide all learners whilst training to ensure the achievement of positive outcomes in terms of results.
    • Monitor the welfare of learners during training and liaise with relevant stakeholders to attend to their identified need to ensure holistic approach to training.

    Assessment of learners

    • Ensure that assessment documents are utilised according to expected outcomes.
    • Assess learners according to training plans and qualifications authorities.
    • Complete assessment reports and related administration and submit to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Provide assessment feedback to all learners.

    Management systems and compliance

    • Ensure that all your accreditations are relevant, maintained and up to date.
    • Ensure that all training and associated administration is implemented according to applicable quality management systems. (QMS)
    • Ensure that applicable safety measures are maintained in the training workshops inclusive of Behavioural Safety for all learners.
    • Ensure that all leaners comply to the training requirements for relevant courses.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Grade 12 and/or N2 and/or NCV level 4.
    • Qualified Artisan (Red seal) Toolmaker
    • Registered facilitator with NAMB or any Seta
    • Registered Assessor NAMB or any Seta
    • Registered Moderator NAMB or any Seta
    • Three years’ experience after being qualified
    • Three years in training

    (Re - Advertisement) Decontamination Worker Hay Level 8

    Key Performance Areas

    • Routine Decontamination
    • Decontamination/cleaning of the facility.
    • Decontamination of Equipment before production (Daleen, Padraic Tables, sliding doors and inter cell trolley)
    • Decontamination of Vehicles (Only back of Vehicles)
    • Ensure Deep Cleaning is performed on a monthly basis.
    • Storage Area and Ad hoc Decontamination
    • Perform any ad hoc decontamination.
    • Ensure that Consumables are always available at working station.
    • Ensure equipment are properly stored in designated Areas.
    • Housekeeping.
    • Ensure that housekeeping is maintained (Routine Cleaning Schedule)
    • Ensure that faults identified during routine facility inspections are eliminated.
    • Waste removal to relevant designated areas.
    • Lebo Observations (100%), DIR and TIIR.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.

    Minimum experience

    • Three (3) years of experience in decontamination work, hygiene, and cleaning facilities.
    • In-house training on the job.
