    Enterprise Business Development Manager

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:

    • Honour’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics etc.), Space Science and Technology, or a related field.
    • Advanced degree (MBA, MBL, Master’s in Engineering) preferred.
    • At least 5-10 years in a Senior Business Development, Marketing or Sales role within the space, engineering and technology innovation industries or related sectors.
    • Demonstrated experience in business development, strategic planning, investment and growth strategy development, and project management with a strong scientific and engineering background.
    • Proven track record of achieving business growth and development targets.

    Key performance areas will include, but are not limited to:

    • Develop and execute growth strategic plans to drive SANSA’s business growth and financial sustainability.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
    • Lead client and stakeholder engagements, including industry partners, government bodies, and investors.
    • Identify and pursue new business and sector development opportunities.
    • Oversee mergers, acquisitions, and capital projects, conducting feasibility assessments and investment evaluations.
    • Foster innovation and technology development through collaborations with research institutions and technology firms.
    • Establish partnerships and collaborations to drive industry transformation and investment.
    • Manage marketing and public relations to enhance SANSA’s visibility in the space sector.
    • Oversee financial management, ensuring effective budgeting, cost efficiency, and revenue generation.

    Group Administrator

    The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:

    • National Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field (NQF Level 6).
    • 1–3 years of experience as an Administrator, Secretary, or Personal Assistant to a manager with a team dynamic.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Experience with SAGE 300 and SAGE X3 (mandatory).
    • Strong knowledge of events planning and coordination.

    Key performance areas will include, but are not limited to:

    Administrative Support

    • Provide efficient administrative assistance to Enterprise Services.
    • Manage diaries, meetings, and correspondence for teams.
    • Maintain an effective filing and records management system.
    • Handle procurement-related activities and assist in documentation.
    • Take minutes of meetings, distribute them accurately, and follow up on action items.

    National & International Travel Arrangements

    • Arrange domestic and international travel for teams.
    • Coordinate visa applications, hotel bookings, transportation, and travel insurance.
    • Ensure compliance with company travel policies.

    Events Coordination

    • Organise and manage events, strategic meetings, and workshops.
    • Liaise with stakeholders, venues, and service providers for event logistics.
    • Ensure smooth execution and post-event reviews.

    Office Management

    • Maintain a professional and organised office environment.
    • Ensure stationery, office supplies, and records are well managed.
    • Act as a point of contact between Enterprise Services and key stakeholders.
