Activities will include:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, end-to-end and regression testing.
• Automate web application tests using Selenium WebDriver.
• Use TestRail to document test plans, manage test cases, and track test execution.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, document, and track bugs to resolution.
• Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and results.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. 

Requirements 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing.
• Proficiency in testing C# MVC web applications and REST APIs.
• Experience with test management tools, particularly TestRail.
• Ability to perform both manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools, especially Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficient in using version control systems like Git.
• Strong understanding of different types of testing (functional, integration, end-to-end, regression.
• Experience with creating and managing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello.
• Familiarity with behavior-driven development (BDD) tools like SpecFlow would be beneficial.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications in software testing would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and own the overall Integration Service
• Build and own the standards, policies and development methodologies for the integration platforms
• Develop integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features on integration platforms and own overall solution architecture for the ICC. Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business
• Determine specifications, plan, design, and develop the integration solutions in conjunction with project teams
• Develop the integration platforms, development standards and procedures as well as architectures for services and code reuse
• Build inter-operability design principles into solutions and resolve problems related to business applications and related middleware components to achieve this
• Build a critical mass of support for the integration technologies in order to establish its mindshare, technical standards around benefits and help mature the use of technology within the organisation while working with the virtual teams
• Oversee ICC projects, including project planning, resource allocation, steering committee leadership, and team organisational structure management
• Estimate the technical costs of projects for stakeholders and project managers, confer with stakeholders to identify requirements (e.g., data, information needs, processing, specific output, functional and development of test data), and determine their outcomes in order to formulate the design of the system and/or offer alternative solutions in a timely manner 

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM discipline.
• Desirable: It would be advantageous to have a post graduate qualification in the relevant IM discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity the specific ERP field, controls and risk mitigation
• Proficiency in required languages. LATAM roles will require proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish
• Relevant business process improvement plans, risks and opportunities

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer/Engineering Sciences and/ OR matric with at least 15 years relevant experience as a developer as part of a team in a software development environment.
• A strong knowledge of Microsoft web development toolsets is essential.
• 4 years relevant experience as a Team Lead Integration developer as part of a team in a software development environment
• Good understanding of the .NET framework and C# language features
• Good understanding of the python language
• A good understanding of the SDLC process, tools and techniques specifically as applied to software development methodology. 

Suitable candidate would be responsible for the below:

• Implementing code that can be reused on multiple platforms.
• Breaking down complex issues into smaller manageable tasks
• Support existing and develop new functionality and components.
• Understand existing product and domain elements and work with business analysts to refine and implement new requirements.
• Refactor and improve the code to keep the product maintainable and adaptable to new requirements.
• Work effectively in a team environment and follow/develop product software development processes and standards.
• Evaluate and improve application performance, and high availability features.
• Create unit and integrated system tests to show that the developed functionality works as intended.
• Create technical documentation that explains how the various components of the system work and how to use them.
• Do root cause analysis on bugs to find and fix the cause of a problem in an integrated system.
• Build and deploy the system on an application server.
• Create and execute functional test scenarios (dev testing).
• Incorporate the work done by other developers and do whatever is necessary to get the system to work again with the changes, including debugging other people’s code, making changes to test data, etc.
• Provide guidance and assistance to more junior developers to ensure they deliver quality work within the agreed timeframes.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team and other teams within the company.

Key Work Experience:

• At least 5 years’ relevant industrial and commercial experience with an Data Center Infrastructure skill set
• At least 2 years’ experience in BMS or Scada or PLC Controllers
• 5 years’ Design and Consulting experience with preferably Data Centre Infrastructure and ICT environment
• Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Backup Power Systems and Critical Power Systems, Building Management Systems, Structured Cabling and Fibre Solutions, Integrated Security Solutions, Fire Systems & Solutions are some of the in- solution offerings
• Industry experience and certification preferably and certifications in building automation and electronic low voltage systems 

Educational Requirements:

• Relevant Degree (BSC Electrical or BSC Mechanical or N-Dip/BTech Electrical)
• Medium Voltage Certification
• Switching Certification
• Beneficial certification:
• CDCDP or up to CDCDE, ATD and CDFOM

• In-depth understanding of SDLC, unit testing, database design, and technical change control.
• Technical knowledge of SQL, Oracle, eBlogic, C, Cognos, XML, TopLink, Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ IDE, WebLogic 12c.
• Familiarity with open source technologies and Agile methodology, particularly the Atlassian Suite.
