Description

Responsibilities
- System Improvement (SI) Delivery
- Has a clear understanding of the Business requirements of the process or product in order to get value from the data
- Will create specs for PIT and work with PIT to ensure the correct tables and views are designed to use the data efficiently
- Ensures the correct processes are implemented to provide accurate data, within the agreed timelines
- Support of Existing Processes & New Systems Improvement Projects
- Developing Reports & Dashboards and Conducting Descriptive Analysis
- Weekly & Monthly reporting as required (incl. the automation of it if possible)

Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- Business degree with Analytical/Commercial subjects, Bachelor degree in Computer Sc., Maths, Eng. or equivalent NQF level 8 qual
- Minimum 3 years analyst experience, preferably in a financial services, logistics or ecommerce environment with a focus on delivering insights.
- Retail experience will be an advantage
- Above average computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, Google Workspace)
- Understanding of statistics will be an advantage
- Basic Big Query SQL
- Excellent knowledge of spreadsheets
- Knowledge of data modelling, data cleaning, data enrichment and visualisation techniques
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools (eg Data Studio, Tableau) will be an advantage

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working closely with Buying, VM, Retail, Media, and Suppliers, in addition to collaborating with the Marketing team. This role ensures all production elements related to the Marketing department are executed timeously and accurately within a specified budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinating Campaigns
- Brief and manage jobs on RMS system (internal briefing software system)

- Ensure that prizes and vouchers are loaded and distributed

Digital
- Creative and effective digital copywriting and/or proof reading
- Ensure content calendar is populated and updated in order to brief media agency
- Monitor and escalate customer feedback to community management team
PR

- Renaming and sending high res images for editorial briefs

Administration

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Marketing or related field (advantageous)
- A minimum of 2 years of brand / marketing experience.

- Experience with various CMS & website technology
- Experience and understanding of the retail environment and a feel for décor, trends and the retail market advantageous
