    Raw Material Controller (Pietermaritzburg)

    Description

    • The role is responsible for the end-to-end process of raw materials on-site.

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12  
    • A relevant tertiary qualification

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar position and industry
    • Raw material stock control and stock management experience
    • Animal Feed Manufacturing will be an added advantage

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Maintain FIFO
    • Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials to production
    • Managing stock lead days within set parameters
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
    • Timeously resolve supplier complaints
    • Limit stock losses to a minimum and explain stock deviations
    • Ensure timeous and accurate reporting
    • Conduct effective and regular stock takes
    • Maintain internal controls and procedures and ensure compliance.
    • Ensure accurate and timeous planning and recording of stock and capturing of all stock intakes accurately (GRVs)
    • Ensure timeous reporting of stock claims
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with Production Manager
    • Adhere to all safety regulation policies, procedures and notices and ensures monthly health and safety reports are done
    • Obtain V-number and MSD (Safety Data Sheet) for raw materials before a request is sent to Master Data for loading.
    • Ensure that allocated work is clean and complete cleaning register

    Compliance Manager (Centurion)

    Description

    • The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring adherence to compliance standards, laws, and internal procedures by overseeing security documentation, collateral management systems, and interest rate accuracy.
    • The role focuses on minimising risk through effective compliance monitoring, reporting, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with the approved compliance manual and relevant legislation.

    Requirements

    National Credit Act (NCA) Compliance

    • Conduct training on NCA requirements, compile and submit statutory reports (Form 39, Form 40, Reg 68), and ensure timely renewal of NCR certificates, as well as any other reports applicable.

    Training & Work Allocation

    • Deliver compliance-related training, allocate staff to projects based on workload, and ensure timely completion of tasks.Quality Control & Audits
    • Perform regular checks on compliance files, implement audit recommendations, and highlight risk areas to management.

    Refinancing & Book Debt Management

    • Oversee refinancing processes, ensure accurate SAP updates, and maintain correct collateral and security documentation.
