    Key Performance Output 

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Surveillance & Investigation and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

    • Manage time and attendance and conduct resource planning.
    • Develop Human Capital in line with relevant policies and procedures, including the Work Skills Plan.
    • Ensure smooth shift handover of all communication and equipment from one shift to another.
    • Ensure professional behaviour and application of customer service standards by all staff at all times.

    • Certificate in South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) Supervisory is essential.
    • SASSETA Surveillance Skills Program Certificate is essential.
    • SASSETA Skills program 1-4 Certificate is essential.
    • Supervisory Development Program is advantageous.
    • 5 years’ operational experience in CCTV/Aviation is essential.
    • 1-year Supervisory experience is essential.
    • MS Office proficiency.

    Senior Programme Manager

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Manager Aviation Regulatory Standards, and will be responsible but not limited to the following: 

    • Input into maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution of the asset.
    • Ensure strategic alignment of projects to business objectives and a consistent approach to project execution to drive optimal delivery. 
    • Oversee project scope and review projects within portfolio for resource prioritisation. 
    • Facilitate project managers and related resources meeting to consolidate and align on project delivery. 
    • Manage integration of project plans within multiple project portfolios; impact on business; key dependencies and optimise resources. 
    • Responsible for overall performance of project portfolio, including implementation to agreed delivery timing, financials and quality. 
    • Review updates from project managers on current stage and status of projects and provide necessary feedback and reporting on performance. 
    • Update EXCO, PMO and relevant Business Owners on total portfolio status, highlight / escalate necessary project performance and concerns.

    Duty Manager AMC - Cape Town

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Operational Planning, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Monitor stakeholder compliance across all PBA processes including AMC representatives.
    • Ensure daily operational plans are completed, review quality, critical information is communicated, and according to agreed standards.
    • Verify and update procedures for continuous improvement.
    • Ensuring execution of the AMC decisions, monitor implementation and resolution of the event.
    • Ensure a culture of real time monitoring in the AMC, monitor relevant systems to detect events that may cause delays to the PBA process across the airport as a whole.
    • Identify solutions and escalate challenges within specific focus areas to the correct level in the organisation to ensure that it is timely addressed.
    • Management of real time capacity for exceptional circumstances (events/weather related).
    • Facilitate efficient communication across functions (or organizational boundaries) for all AMC related processes including information dissemination.
    • Participate in cross functional/ organisational communication including information sharing to the AMC in order to manage and analyse events effectively.
    • Compile reports and indicate deviations on published procedures and regulations.
    • Produce monthly management reports through the analysis and trending of operational activities and data to provide business intelligence for decision making.
    • Managing the Company’s risk exposure and minimize liability through identifying, implementing, and maintaining risk control measures.
    • Accountable for operational team performance through effective management within policies and procedures to ensure achievement of standards/objectives.
    • Provide input to the performance management of all Internal and external REPS and engage operational managers when needed.
    • Conduct trial and simulations as well as techniques to optimise assets utilisation.
    • Monitor airside, terminal, and landside service providers performance through engaging and supporting the service providers to achieve and exceed agreed service levels in adherence to the SLA contractual agreements.
    • Approve works notification processes, influence, and monitor projects and maintenance works in order to reduce impact on Passenger, Aircraft, Baggage operations.
    • Ensure the operational plans and resource allocations are accurate and that they meet the operational demands.
    • Highlight the impact of festive periods and big events on the operation and ensure the resource plans are modified accordingly.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree (3 years - 360 credits) in Business Management is essential.
    • 5 years aviation operational experience is essential.
    • 2 years experience in operations is essential. 
    • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.

    Senior Specialist Enterprise Applications

    Key Performance Outputs

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Technical Manager Enterprise Applications and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

    • Ensure quality and integrity of documentation.
    • Ensure all IT staff and service desk staff are trained on systems.
    • Provide input into application design to meet business requirements (i.e. Reach, range, capacity, redundancy, reliability)
    • Participate in root cause analysis and problem management, working in conjunction with the Problem and Configuration Manager.
    • Ensure addition, update, modification or removal of any IT application in a standard and controlled manner

     Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:

    • Bachelor’s degree (3 years - 360 credits) in Information Technology / Computer Science / Informatics is essential
    • 6-8 years operational experience in Information Technology is essential.
    • 4-6 years operational experience in Oracle e-Business Suite, IBM Websphere and Microsoft SharePoint and .Net is recommended.

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to Group Executive HR, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Develop and define a comprehensive compensation, total rewards and benefits strategy, philosophy and framework that defines the total reward mix that would assist the company in reaching its strategic objectives through the management and optimisation of its human capital. 
    • Provide direction in implementing, administering and communication of company compensation programs including annual short- and long-term incentives and executive compensation.
    • Manage the compliance of total reward equality to ensure fairness and consistency in the operation of Total reward strategy, policies and procedures. 
    • Manage the Total Rewards policies, procedures, process and implement new and revised Reward programmes, practices, policies and procedures to drive and support the attraction, retention and development of top talent and performers for ACSA. 
    • Lead the development of Total Rewards programme, practices and policies for Base Salary, Short Terms Incentive Plan, Long Terms Incentive Plans and annual Pay for Performance Cycle. 
    • Develop, communicate and administer competitive total rewards strategies, including compensation, benefits, retirement, engagement and other work experience programs that are cost effective and consistent with labour market trends and organisational objectives 
    • Manage accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salary calculations, deductions and tax requirements. 
    • Develop and manage Executive Conditions of Employment and Remuneration framework and policy in line with the Board approval. 
    • Manage the company job evaluation process in line with the policy, procedure and principles approved by the Company. 
    • Compile the annual remuneration report for the Company integrated report. 
    • Lead all HR metrics reporting for the Group (including turnover, absenteeism. Training, exit data, recruitment response rates, leave management). 
    • Interpret business plan and develop operational and labour budgets for the function for efficient delivery of operational targets and submit recommendations to Executive Management.
