    Manager – Capital Markets Corporate Administration

    Role summary:

    • We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Manager to join Apex’s Capital Markets team, with responsibility for managing the corporate administration function across a portfolio of capital markets and structured finance entities. The role requires a technically strong, detail-oriented and commercially aware individual who can oversee transaction closings, maintain statutory and corporate records, coordinate regulatory and tax reporting obligations, and act as a trusted point of contact for client directors, counsel, intermediaries and internal teams. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that entities are administered accurately, efficiently and in line with applicable legal, regulatory, governance and client requirements, while also managing and developing team members within the function.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain a detailed understanding of assigned client portfolios, entity-specific requirements, transaction structures, statutory obligations and applicable governance requirements, and act as a source of guidance to team members on corporate administration matters;
    • Work with team manager, client directors and assistant client directors to ensure the planning, coordination and completion of all regulatory obligations and client agreed deliverables within strict deadlines for the portfolio of entities are met;
    • Maintain and monitor diary notes and workflows; prepare and maintain accurate entity summaries;
    • Manage the full corporate administration lifecycle for capital markets entities, including transaction closings, onboarding, post-closing actions, ongoing maintenance, restructurings, amendments and entity exits or terminations;
    • Maintain accurate statutory records, minute books, registers, beneficial ownership records, entity summaries and corporate databases, ensuring all records remain complete, current and audit-ready;
    • Liaise with legal counsel, client directors, assistant client directors, transaction parties, registered agents, administrators, auditors, banks and other intermediaries in relation to closings, statutory filings, corporate approvals and ongoing administration;
    • Prepare, coordinate and review board and shareholder resolutions, minutes, written consents, officer certificates, incumbency documents, registers and other corporate documentation required for transactions and ongoing governance;
    • Coordinate FATCA, CRS, economic substance, annual returns, regulatory submissions and other periodic filings, ensuring deadlines are tracked, evidence is retained and exceptions are escalated appropriately;
    • Deal with the termination/exiting of funds or other corporate entities;
    • To ensure service delivered meets company policy and/or service level agreement;
    • Participate and provide support to all new business activities;
    • Contribute to any relevant tasks arising out of on-going projects;
    • Ensure that the client information is accurate at all times;
    • Provide accurate and timely monthly reports of key management information to Management or as required;
    • Manage and supervise corporate administrators, senior administrators and junior team members, overseeing adherence to internal policies, controls, checklists, systems and agreed service standards;
    • Act as point of contact with client directors, assistant client directors and intermediaries such as auditors, bankers and investment managers as required;
    • Establish, build and maintain strong relationships and networks with both internal, cross jurisdictional and external contacts;
    • Build key relationships with client directors and assistant client directors in the sending location, ensuring the team responds swiftly to requests and manage expectations;
    • Contribute to the overall management of the team and business;
    • Report any identified issues and risks, including legal/regulatory matters and client complaints, to senior management promptly;

    Skills / experience:

    • To be considered, candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in corporate administration, company secretarial services, capital markets, structured finance, fiduciary services, legal services or financial services administration, with proven experience managing a portfolio of corporate entities and supervising team members. A relevant qualification in law, commerce, governance, business administration, company secretarial practice, compliance or a related field is desirable. Prior exposure to capital markets transactions, structured finance vehicles, listed or regulated entities, FATCA/CRS reporting, statutory filings and corporate governance processes will be highly beneficial.

    You will also require the following:

    • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of corporate administration, company law, statutory recordkeeping, governance processes, regulatory filings, FATCA/CRS obligations and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with entity management systems and workflow tools is advantageous.

    Senior Linux Engineer

    Key duties and responsibilities

    • Design, build, maintain, and support enterprise Linux server platforms across production, development, and test environments.
    • Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex Linux operating system, performance, networking, storage, and application hosting issues.
    • Develop and maintain Bash scripts to automate system administration, health checks, patching, reporting, deployment, and operational tasks.
    • Implement and support orchestration and configuration management solutions such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, or similar tooling.
    • Standardise Linux server builds, baseline configurations, patching processes, access controls, monitoring, and operational runbooks.
    • Lead Linux platform lifecycle activities, including provisioning, upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, decommissioning, and vulnerability remediation.
    • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, network, database, application, and service management teams to deliver reliable and secure Linux services.
    • Act as a senior escalation point during critical incidents, high-priority service issues, and complex operational investigations.
    • Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability for Linux platforms using enterprise monitoring and log analytics tools.
    • Ensure Linux environments comply with organisational security, audit, regulatory, and operational standards, including hardening and access management requirements.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, automation documentation, and knowledge base articles.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve service reliability, and increase repeatability through automation and orchestration.
    • Support infrastructure projects, cloud migration initiatives, disaster recovery planning, backup validation, and platform resilience improvements.

    Experience and skills

    • Proven experience as a Senior Linux Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, Linux Administrator, or similar infrastructure engineering role.
    • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise Linux distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu Server, Debian, or SUSE Linux.
    • Bash scripting skills, including automation of administrative tasks, log parsing, scheduled jobs, reporting, validation checks, and repeatable operational workflows.
    • Experience with orchestration and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, Terraform, or similar automation platforms.
    • Strong understanding of Linux networking, DNS, SSH, firewalls, package management, storage, filesystems, systemd, cron, logging, and kernel-level troubleshooting.
    • Experience with security hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management, privileged access controls, and audit/compliance requirements.
    • Experience supporting Linux workloads in virtualised, cloud, or hybrid environments, including Azure,OCI,AWS etc.
    • Good understanding of monitoring, alerting, backup, disaster recovery, capacity management, and incident/problem management processes.
    • Familiarity with container platforms and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar would be advantageous.
    • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
    • Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, Linux+, LPIC, LFCS, LFCE, or cloud/platform engineering certifications would be advantageous.

    Trainee Administrator

    Role Summary:

    • As a Trainee Administrator at Apex Group, you will support the delivery of high-quality corporate administration services to a portfolio of clients, working closely with experienced colleagues to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations.
