Responsible for own output, three- way match between purchase order, delivery note and invoices.
Sending invoices to Budget Holders for signature.
Follow up of invoices with no PO & Outstanding invoices/orders.
Supervise the day-to-day Accounts Payable – functional processes within the AP team.
Ensure delivery of high quality and timely AP deliverables that meet the requirements of Line Managers, Project team, Supply Chain and Embedded Finance.
Plan the daily and weekly staff output.
Coordinate all vendor relations including phone communication with the vendor regarding payment agreements and timetable for payments.
Research vendor accounts in order to answer vendor questions on outstanding invoices and payments
Investigate all payments not processed within the team.
Ensure compliance to relevant policies and procedures
Reconciles accounts payable total and general ledger with other applicable records (e.g. subsidiary vendors ledger).
Assisting with the implementation of Dynamics 365 – AP module.
Assisting the Financial Accountant with her duties.
Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate with Accounting.
A 3- year tertiary qualification.
3 years Supervisory experience in an AP environment with specialization in Accounts Payable.
Computer Literacy (MS Office and associated software) – Proficient in Excel.
Previous ERP system experience (Essential).
Microsoft Dynamics AX experience will be an advantage.
Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently, and accurately.
Good English communication and presentation skills.
Ethical, Honest, Integrity and trustworthy personality.
Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate and communicate clear and effective AP information.
Able to maintain confidentiality regarding company accounting practices and procedures, including vendor information.
Attention to detail and able to multi-task; able to prioritize responsibilities appropriately.
Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all plant equipment, electrically and mechanically, on-site as well as off-site.
Responsible to execute maintenance and repairs according to the planning of all electrical and mechanical maintenance categories, planned- and unplanned, including breakdowns, as allocated by the Maintenance Foreman.
Assist with additional maintenance at the plant, as required by the Maintenance Foreman.
Responsible for the maintenance aspects of all plant equipment as described in the company asset register, specifically electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance.
Ability to work under pressure, achieving maintenance planning milestones and deliverables achieving time and budget expectations.
Requirements
N3 or Grade 12 qualification
Relevant trade certificate (MIETTB or Olifantsfontein registration)
Minimum 5 years experience as a Millwright
Must be able to read and understand Electrical and Mechanical drawings.
Valid certificate of physical fitness
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to communicate with people on different levels
Valid driver’s license
