    Senior Data Capturer

    Job Description

    • BKB is seeking a Senior Data Capturer who plays a critical role in the Finance Division by ensuring that customer/supplier data is accurately and timely captured by the data team.This candidate will take accountability that customer/supplier data captured on Syspro supports audit and compliance requirements.

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE:

    • Grade 12
    • At least 5 years’ experience in a high-volume data capture role, preferably in a finance environment
    • Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in MS Excel
    • Knowledge of Syspro is recommended
    • Good understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g. Popia)
    • Knowledge of legislation e.g. Fica
    • Must be fully bilingual; must be fully conversant in Afrikaans and English

    • Liaise with internal divisions/subsidiaries to enhance customer/supplier data fields
    • Accountable to oversee and ensure that the Data team meet all targets and deadlines regarding data capturing
    • Perform quality checks for correctness of data captured and generate exception reports
    • Identify process improvements and recommend efficiencies including Helpdesk
    • Provide training and support to Data team
    • Assist with internal and external audits by providing data records and documentation
    • Handling of enquiries regarding customer/supplier information
