    Breakdown Technician -Limpopo

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • The Technician will be responsible for carrying out technical tasks including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of Booyco systems and equipment. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Qualified Artisan (Red Seal) Electrician or Automotive Electrician
    • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a technical or field services role.
    • Own Transport and valid driver's license (willing to travel and work overtime)
    • Medically fit to work on a mine (Underground and surface)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment in line with company standards.
    • Complete service reports, job cards, and COC documentation accurately and on time.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues on site and escalate where necessary.
    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, procedures, and customer requirements.
    • Maintain high standards of workmanship and represent Booyco Electronics professionally.

    Site Supervisor

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • The Site Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all onsite activities related to Proximity Detection Systems (PDS) and Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS). You will ensure compliance, manage service delivery, lead the technician team, and support the Account Manager with reporting and operational updates.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Matric and Qualified Artisan (Red Seal) in Electrical, Automotive Electrical or a related trade
    • N6 / National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role within the mining industry.
    • At least 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
    • Hands-on experience with mining equipment and collision prevention systems.
    • Understanding of MHSA, OHSA, Section 21 requirements, and mining site safety regulations. Experience with service level agreements (SLAs), reporting, and risk compliance.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel), report writing and operational systems
    • Medically fit for site visits and physically able to conduct inspections.
    • Strong written and verbal communication in English.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily on-site operations and ensure effective service delivery.
    • Lead, support, and mentor a team of technicians.
    • Ensure strict adherence to MHSA, OHSA, quality, and Booyco safety standards.
    • Conduct PTOs, toolbox talks, and compliance checks.
    • Complete weekly COC compliance reporting.
    • Perform daily and weekly stock management for tools, PPE, and equipment.
    • Maintain accurate daily diaries, job cards, and administrative records.
    • Provide operational support and updates to the Account Manager.
    • Identify and resolve issues quickly to minimise downtime.
    • Ensure all technicians meet technical and safety requirements.

    Administration & SLA Contracts Manager

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • The Administration & SLA Contracts Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity of administrative processes, compliance with contractual obligations, and the timely and accurate reporting of operational metrics. This role plays a critical part in maintaining document control, managing service level agreements (SLAs), and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across branches.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field (Required)
    • ISO or equivalent compliance/audit certification (Preferred)
    • 3–5 years of experience in administrative or contract management roles.
    • Experience in SLA environments and operational reporting.
    • Experience with SLA principles, compliance frameworks, and administration practices.
    • Strong financial awareness relating to SLA billing and debtors tracking.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Willingness to travel nationally.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage monthly compliance reporting and ensure accurate COC capture procedures are maintained across operations.
    • Consolidate and analyse operational data, including POD records, sales orders, invoicing, repair trends, and financial performance reports.
    • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly management reports covering KPIs, SLA performance, sales turnover, budgets, overdue repairs, and customer service metrics.
    • Monitor service delivery performance by tracking execution dates, identifying trends, and reporting on missed targets, SLA variances, and operational risks.
    • Coordinate with Finance, Sales, and Area Managers to manage overdue debtors, collections reporting, invoicing accuracy, and revenue recovery initiatives.
    • Draft, review, and manage SLA contracts, renewals, amendments, and pricing updates while ensuring compliance with approval workflows and contractual obligations.
    • Conduct trend analysis and forecasting to identify underperforming accounts, financial risks, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for service improvement.
    • Develop and implement corrective action plans, process improvements, and recovery strategies to stabilise at-risk contracts and improve operational efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and operational standards through site visits, visual audits, and continuous risk mitigation activities.
    • Prepare executive-level presentations and reports, including MANCO submissions, field service summaries, and strategic operational performance updates.
