    About the role:

    • As a Data Scientist I at Capitec, your purpose is to drive Capitec's AI strategy, ensuring the bank remains competitive in a dynamic landscape where data science is a key strategic differentiator. The role involves leveraging solid, textbook knowledge of state-of-the-art data science principles and techniques in disciplines such deep learning and the underlying theory and assumptions of various techniques. This role sit within Capitec's Business Banking divsion and will serve in the area of AI and ML.
    • Key responsibilities include designing and implementing predictive models and intelligent algorithms to gain deeper insights into business performance drivers, enabling more effective decision-making.     Auditor: Recoveries Risk Support

    Purpose Statement

    • To plan, conduct, and report on audits on financial and operational practices of third parties, including external debt collectors (EDCs), debt buyers and payment distribution agents (PDAs).
    • To conduct due diligence checks on third parties as well as ad hoc compliance checks and investigations.

    Experience
    Minimum:

    Purpose Statement
