Job Description    
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Packaging department. We are looking for a talented individual with relevant skills and experience as a Machine Area Specialist, which is based in CCBSA Phoenix.

Key Purpose:
To maintain, repair and optimise plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities    

•  Mechanical standby as per roster.
•  Preventative mechanical maintenance work.
•  Membership of a fault-finding team.
•  Modification projects (whenever necessary).
•  Installation of new equipment.
•  Development of work instructions related to mechanical equipment.
•  Monitor and manage performance of equipment.
•  Optimize machine performance and lay-out.
•  Optimization of maintenance schedules.
•  Optimize machine availability.
•  Ability to work shifts and be available on call-out where necessary
• Contribute to self and team development.
•  Plan budget and prepare the job in a systematic and effective manner.
•  Must be able to work under the pressures of a production environment.
•  Self-starter.
•  Must have an appreciation for quality and technical standards.
•  Must be able to liaise with Machine Suppliers and Technical Support from COF.
•  Must be able to carry out mechanical maintenance work.
•  Must have 'trouble shooting' skills.

Skills, Experience & Education    

•  N4 with Trade Test (Mechanical) (i.e Fitter and Turner)
•  5 years’ work experience
•  PC literacy essential - Microsoft packages.
•  Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa has an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified and experienced individual in the Cold Drink Equipment department for a Refrigeration Mechanic. The successful candidate role will be to maintain and repair refrigeration equipment as to meet all quality standards and to achieve customer service excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities    

•  Repaired and maintained equipment
•  Solved situational problems
•  Customer satisfaction. (Field Services only)
•  Route planning. (Field Services only)
•  Maintained safety, health and environmental standards.
•  Managed own development and performance.
•  Tested cooling equipment before final assembly (Refurbishment only)
•  Complete work in line with the requirements of SHEQ systems

Qualifications
 Minimum requirement: Matric or N3 (Refrigeration/electrical) and Registered trade test - Refrigeration

Experience

•  Minimum requirement: 2 years’ experience in refrigeration/vending/fountain in the field (maintenance and repairs of commercial fridges)
•  Valid Code 08 driver's licence (must currently be driving). Code 10 will be an added advantage.
•  Technical Knowledge
