Main Purpose of the Job
- The main purpose of the job is to support the engagement Manager/Senior Manager in delivery of services to clients on delegated engagements.
- Focus on the management and delivery of client engagements, as well as sales and practice development.
- Develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Appropriate B. Degree or equivalent in the following fields:
Computer Science/ Information Technology
Mathematics/ Statistics
Engineering
Law
Commerce/Accounting/Cost/Auditing/Economics
Other fields relevant to Digital Internal Audit, Business Analysis, Extended Enterprise/contract management, Strategy & Brand
Foundational Professional certification from a recognised professional body relevant for practice in the fields outlined above.
Demonstrably deep expertise and experience in one of the professional fields applicable to Internal Controls and Assurance
Desired qualifications:
- Postgraduate/ Master’s Degree qualification in a field related to fields per Minimum qualifications above.
- Professional certification from a recognised professional body relevant for practice in the fields outlined above.
- Preference in certifications,
- Commerce/Accounting/Cost/Auditing – CA(SA), CIA
Experience:
- 5+ Years work experience in another relevant field
- 3 years’ worth of Information Technology Audit experience and Data Analysis projects experience
- 4+ years working experience in the fields related to the Internal Controls & Assurance business area which include but not limited to:
- Digital Internal Audit
- Controls Optimisation
Technical competencies:
- Technical expert in specific area and/or industry
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Consulting skills
- Experience in drafting and presenting to clients
- Good report writing skills
- Sound financial knowledge and understanding

Focus on the delivery of client engagements and shares knowledge and experience with others. Understands objectives for clients and aligns own work to objectives. You will have minimum 4 years’ relevant experience of working within an audit/risk or professional services environment.
Demonstrate strong understanding and experience in performance of IT controls engagements across key industries covering large scale ERP application systems and supporting infrastructure, business processes, and security.
Technical Competencies
- Mastery at technical skills and methodology application
- Able to develop customised audit programs for adhoc systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems including SAP, Oracle etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of key databases (SQL, Oracle) and understanding of the associated security issues and vulnerabilities
- Ability to perform focused IT reviews including data conversion, interface reviews, segregation of duties and SAP authorisations
- Ability to execute on Third party assurance engagements (ISAE3402/SOC) and unstructured controls advisory projects
- Fully versed in PCOAB requirements and SOX requirements
- Fluent on Digital Risk and highly knowledgeable on Emerging Technologies
- Ability to execute on unstructured controls advisory engagements including Cloud, Payments, IT risk & governance; RPA etc. Developed skills in Agile and DevOps
- Strong industry experience in key industries.
