    Quality Systems Engineer

    Job Purpose
    The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

    • The Quality Systems Engineer ensures compliant, effective and agile Quality & Compliance processes and Quality Systems are implemented to support J&J East London site.

    The Main Duties And Responsibilities Of The Position Are

    • Collection, Compilation and Reporting of Site Q&C Metrics
    • Coordination and Monitoring of Quality System KPIs eg. NC, CAPA’s, Global Change Control, Internal Audits and Training to ensure compliance of site with Johnson & Johnson standards and requirements
    • Report compilation for Management Quality Review, Product Quality Review, and various Quality System documents
    • Implementation of new and improved systems and processes such as Best Practices and Quality systems
    • Simplification and Optimization of Quality System processes
    • Deployment of Continuous Improvement and Innovation initiatives to improve agility of the Quality organization
    • Support and Execution of Non-conformances, Root-Cause Analysis, CAPA and GCC processes
    • Scheduling, Maintenance and Improvements of Training needs for relevant departments
    • Support of Administrators of various Quality Electronic Systems eg. TRU, Compliance wire, Symphony etc
    • Product Release, Batch Record Review Auditing and Archiving
    • Investigation on Consumer Complaints and compilation of information into PQMS system
    • Ad-hoc support to various Plant Quality and Quality System functions
    • Compliance with Environment, Health & Safety requirements

    Qualifications
    We’d love to hear from YOU, if you have:

    • Formal Education: National Diploma or Degree in Quality Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, B Pharm or Engineering or equivalent
    • Specific Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in quality in a regulated manufacturing environment

    Skills

    • Experience and working knowledge with quality systems: GMP, ISO 9001 & J&J standards
    • Experience and working knowledge of process/flow chart, computer programs, and MS Office tools
    • Ability to manage multiple projects
    • Proactive, Solutions oriented and Continuous Improvement mindset
    • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation skills including design and use of visual aids

    Plant Quality Specialist

    Job Purpose
    The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

    • Plant Quality Specialist to ensure GMP and Quality requirements are met at East London site
    • To ensure that the required initial and continuing training of the department personnel is carried out and adapted to the need.
    • Ensures compliance of production related activities with all relevant quality, compliance legislation, SOP’s, and Master Instructions.

    Qualifications

    • Formal Education: B.Pharm
    • Specific Experience: At least 5-10 years’ relevant production and quality experience in the FMCG or Pharmaceutical or related industry.
