    HPH Enrolled Nurse (Theatre)

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will function under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse and Unit Manager.

    Case Manager

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Case Manager utilising clinical knowledge and expertise, mitigates financial risk through comprehensive and accurate coding of hospital events, communication with funders on justification for hospitalisation level of care and length of stay.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Responsible for application of clinical knowledge in justifying patient hospitalisation in terms of treatment, length of stay and level of care.
    • Monitor and action risk related to medical aid benefits and hospitalisation.

    Electrical Artisan

    Main Focus Areas

    • To provide effective electrical maintenance, installation, fault-finding and repair services to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical equipment, machinery and infrastructure.

    Admissions Clerk

    Main Focus Areas

    • The incumbent will be responsible for the liaison between the patient and medical aids in order to secure payment for the hospital.

    Ward Administrator

    Main Focus Areas

    • The incumbent will be responsible for the co-ordination of all secretarial work in the ward and responsible for receiving all new patients, visitors, and doctor’s in the ward as well as to make them feel welcome.     SPH Infection Prevention Control

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Infection Prevention Control will be responsible to plan, develop and implement an infection control programme for the hospital using infection control standards and international best practice.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Aid and assist all hospital employees in managing the prevention, identification and control of infections issues in patients and employees
    • Plan, develop and implement an infection control programme in keeping with the updated control standards
