    Services Manager

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Develop and grow Lesedi’s Industrial Service Offering to the market
    • Manage a team of service technicians and support staff
    • Create and implement service strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention
    • Oversee service delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with standards
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
    • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings at current client sites
    • Collaborate with EPC project teams to ensure smooth transitions from project to service
    • Analyse service performance data to drive continuous improvement
    • Manage service contracts, budgets, and resource allocation
    • Implement and maintain service management systems and procedures

    QUALIFICATION

    • Technical degree or diploma in engineering, business management, or related field preferred
    • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and compliance

    EXPERIENCE

    • 5+ years of experience in service management within industrial, engineering, or technical environments
    • Proven track record of leading service teams and ensuring client satisfaction
    • Strong understanding of maintenance operations, supply chain management, and service delivery
    • Experience with service management systems and KPI tracking
    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

    Quantity Surveyor(Kendal)

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Contractual Administration & Financial Management

    • Support the Project Management team with controlling cost aspects of contracts
    • Evaluate and agree new bill items and rates with subcontractors
    • Perform measurements and valuations of subcontract works
    • Prepare Bills and Schedules of Quantities
    • Maintain Material take-offs (MTOs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for tenders and projects
    • Measure and verify quantities of completed work against approved drawings
    • Assist in valuations and prepare monthly payment applications to clients
    • Value completed work and assessed applications for payment
    • Prepare estimates for client variation orders and requests for quotation
    • Measure and value variations for client submission
    • Ensure variation costs are correctly allocated in project management systems
    • Prepare final accounts for completed subcontracts and clients

    Process Compliance & Departmental Support

    • Assist in developing standardized documentation and templates for project execution
    • Interface with Finance department to generate project invoices
    • Help resolve contractor payment queries
    • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
    • Maintain accurate time logging and approval in company systems
    • Contribute to process improvements and updates to align with industry standards

    Strategic Support

    • Assist with tender generation as required for project proposals
    • Provide project development leads when available
    • Apply company strategies in daily operations
    • Support the Project Manager and Functional Area Manager in achieving project goals

    QUALIFICATION

    • Degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 3-5 years post-qualification practical experience in relevant field
    • Experience in industrial engineering is beneficial

    Civil QC Inspector - Cape Town

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Record inspections, tests and work executed.
    • Monitor the review of the contractor’s documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any issues which may affect the stability or function of any components or systems.
    • Preparing daily logs and reports.
    • Monitoring and ensuring that all civil/structural engineering aspects of the project are carried out as per inspection plan/drawings/codes and specifications.
    • Monitor safety aspects when dealing with Civil/structural installations.
    • Perform and or evaluate tests confirming quality requirements, civil/structural finishes and building components by conducting thorough site inspection for all civil/structural works as per approved shop drawings, specifications and method statement.
    • Field checks placement, location and quality of civil/structural finishes, building structure components.
    • Perform civil/structural inspections and material inspections.
    • Ensure compliance of civil/structural l works to design requirements, specifications, and project plan.
    • Implement and enforce Lesedi NS and Eskom SHEQ procedures
    • Verify health and safety plans and ensure regulatory compliance
    • Manage construction documentation and quality assurance processes

    QUALIFICATION

    • Civil / Construction tertiary education: Diploma or higher.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience on a construction site
    • ITP & QCP development and monitoring experience
    • Site inspections & verifications

    Solar PV Electrician

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Installation

    • Mount solar panels on roofs or ground mounts according to design plans
    • Install electrical wiring and components including inverters, combiners, and charge controllers
    • Secure and connect solar panels to the electrical grid
    • Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality

    Maintenance

    • Regularly inspect solar panels for damage or debris
    • Clean solar panels to optimize energy production
    • Identify and resolve electrical issues within the system
    • Perform preventative maintenance checks on system components

    Compliance and Safety

    • Adhere to all safety protocols related to working on roofs and with electrical systems
    • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
    • Follow local building codes and electrical regulations

    Supervision and Training

    • Supervise and mentor junior electricians, apprentices, and support staff
    • Provide technical guidance and training to ensure high-quality workmanship
    • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training programs as needed

    Project Management

    • Coordinate with other trades and contractors for seamless integration of electrical systems
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress

    Customer Service

    • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs
    • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour with clients and stakeholders

    QUALIFICATION

    • Relevant Electrical Trade qualification.
    • Valid wireman’s license issued by the Department of Labour (DoL) in South Africa.
    • Registered Electrician / Master Electrician with the DOL will be advantageous.
    • PV Green card advantageous
    • PV Courses advantageous

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Solar PV and BESS experience
