ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As an Artisan Substation, you will be responsible for the execution of maintenance activities during plant shut or special interventions. The main task is to carry out maintenance of equipment activities safely as well as testing and commissioning of work carried prior to handover to operations.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Diagnose plant equipment issues timeously and sustainably;
- Execute work orders as per schedule and relevant work instructions associated with the work orders;
- Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability;
- Initiate updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment as per the SAP process;
- Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process;
- Ensure returns of unused or repairable materials are processed accurately.
ABOUT YOU:
- You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance as a qualified Electrician;
- 3 Years and more experience with High Voltage Systems and Substations is essential;
- Switchgear and transformer maintenance is essential;
- Cable joints and Terminations experience is advantageous;
- Knowledge of UPS and battery chargers is advantageous;
- Medium voltage certificate is advantageous;
- Experience in heavy industrial plant environment will be essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- As a Drill Rig Mechanic , you will be responsible for timely installation, repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure that mining activities are executed in a safe manner as well as operate equipment and tests all working parts in functional area to ensure proper utilization.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As an Operator Process Sampling, you will be responsible to gather information throughout the sampling process for immediate and future decision-making during mining Processing and logistics activities, in a safe and sustainable manner, and assist the production teams with quality control information.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Ensure samples are collected, prepared and submitted to the laboratory on time;
- Coordinate the blending according to plan to ensure the road trucks and trains are loaded with the right qualities;
- Ensure that all breakdown of equipment are reported to the supervisor and maintenance.
- Conduct particle size distributions on samples increments collected;
- Monitor all the plant sample cutters to ensure samples are taken in accordance with the operating procedure;
- Manage sample spillages or material flow and conditions of the sampling points ;
- Ensure that samples are correctly labelled with the product type,time,location and shift ;
- Monitor material movements between the gantries, stackers and stockpile and ensure the correct qualities are placed on the correct dumps.
- Operate LDV;
- Comply with safety procedures;
- Conduct sampling on drill holes and active mugpile material;
- Collect and prepare sinter strength test samples;
- Conduct density for stockpile material;
- Conduct inspections of all tools and equipment used for sample preparation;
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum 1 years’ experience in sampling &/or grade control;
- Computer literate is advantageous;
- Basic Sampling certificate is advantageous;
- Must be able to work shifts.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 with Mathematics / Grade 10 (internal candidates);

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As an operator track dozer, you will be responsible to doze Overburden or Manganese from the applicable dumping area either a waste dump or Inpit stockpile. Dumping could include road, ramp, safety and catchment construction.

- Participate in investigations into workplace incidents;
- Report any unsafe behavior, conditions and incidents to the responsible person;
- Conduct pre-use inspections, routine inspections and report defects;
- Operate mobile equipment based on operational requirements;

- Will be required to operate the different machines based on operational requirements.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- At least a minimum of 2-year experience in operating mobile equipment in a mining environment;
- Mining production experience in surface mining operations.

- Grade 12 for external candidates;
- Grade 10 for internal candidates

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As an Operator Front End Loader 992, you will be responsible to be an alternative loading equipment for the excavators to dig, clean, remove and load Overburden or Manganese from the applicable bench and high wall onto haulers by means of an Front End Loader, leaving only a safety and catchment berm in place
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Front End loaders are the primary equipment in use for preparing drilling blocks at Mamatwan;
- Front End Loaders are the secondary equipment at Mamatwan for loading waste or ore material and is critical equipment to replace an excavator on breakdown or maintenance to achieve overburden and ore budget volumes;
- Ensure continuous judgement during drill block preparations on where the high wall crest is whilst pushing loose material over the edge;
- Ensure continuous judgement of the orebody inclination for the correct approach angle during drill block preparation to prevent slipping and machine damage;
- Effective and efficient FEL operations supports preparational activities, which is critical within the mining cycle to unlock productivity of the primary fleet;
- Control the area where loading is taking place. FEL operator must give permission for any person or equipment to enter the loading area, including the haulers within the applicable cycle;
- Loading of haulers as per instruction and allocation, either Overburden or ROM material;
- Inform the hauler operator regarding the quality of the load and the applicable dumping allocation;
- Inform the hauler operator to dump poor quality Manganese as waste and stockpile good quality Manganese as ore;
- Continuously construct a catchment berm as per standard along the toe of the high wall;
- Continuously construct a safety berm as per standard along the crest of the bench, 3 meters from the edge;
- Ensure continuous compliance of the loading sequence of a hauler number of loads, placement of loads and fill factor of the hauler bowl.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating mobile equipment in a mining or plant environment;
- Excavator skills within a Surface mining operation.
Qualifications for this role are:
- External Candidates: Grade 12;
- Internal Candidates: Grade 10;
- Equipment license on FEL 992;
- Valid Drivers license.
