    Electrical Specialist

    JOB PURPOSE

    • The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical assets within a high-volume washing powder manufacturing plant. The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of key mechanical systems such as conveyor belts, high-horsepower pumps, small pumps, pneumatics, and dust extraction systems.

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
    Plant Support

    • Comply with company and plant rules, participate in safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
    • Maintain and support electrical maintenance for making and packaging equipment.
    • Perform overhaul, repair, and maintenance tasks, including during plant shutdowns.
    • Repair equipment breakdowns and complete work within the plant’s SAP system.
    • Serve on improvement teams and assist with emergency repairs.
    • Provide support for project work and electrical needs.
    • Research ongoing problems and perform project work as directed.
    • Coach and develop the electrical engineering skills of maintenance staff.
    • Act as subject matter experts on electrical circuits, fault finding, repair, installation, and other electrical and instrumentation-related items.
    • Make recommendations to the Project team.

    Administration

    • Complete all required documentation to standard.

    Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE)

    • Ensure adherence to company safety rules and regulations.
    • Implement and maintain Unilever safety and 5S standards.

    Autonomous Maintenance (AM)

    • Complete tags in the area of responsibility to the required completion ratio.

    Technical Skills and Maintenance

    • Develop maintenance standards (SMP, Machine Ledger, PM Calendar) for assigned lines to deliver zero breakdowns.
    • Implement Preventive Maintenance processes and execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
    • Build basic maintenance skills of Technical Operators and Machine Operators.
    • Monitor spare parts inventory and document maintenance activities.
    • Serve as the Preventive Maintenance Specialist and use various maintenance strategies to achieve zero breakdowns. Support shift teams should that become necessary.
    • Troubleshoot equipment and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
    • Ensure compliance with Safety & Quality Protocols during maintenance activities.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical skills and electrical skills, including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and replacing electrical components.
    • Understand and adhere to Process Safety Management (PSM) Program for Refrigeration Systems.
    • Work with Cell Leader and FI Engineer to conduct daily performance reviews and plan priorities.
    • Prepare and facilitate Standard, Major, and Advanced Kaizens.
    • Facilitate work completion with other stakeholders such as Utilities, Projects and Contractors.
    • Align with People Development Pillar to deliver training.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
    Experience & Qualifications

    • N5 Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Trade Test (or equivalent)
    • 5+ years relevant experience in a maintenance environment
    • PLC/DCS troubleshooting
    • PC skills (SAP, Access, Outlook, Excel (Word).

    Skills

    • Strong electrical aptitude with ability to read and interpret electrical principles (voltage, current, resistance, power)
    • Knowledge Circuit diagrams and schematics
    • Series and parallel circuits.
    • Familiarity with CMMS e.g. SAP, BuildApp.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on technical approach.
    • Ability to work shifts and be available for standby/after-hours support.
    • Team player with strong communication skills to work across operations, engineering, and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) teams.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively
    • Strong multi-tasking skills with a comfort in maintaining multiple, often conflicting, priorities, and deadlines.

    Retail Media Specialist

    JOB PURPOSE

    • Lead the planning and execution of retail media strategies to drive impactful digital campaign performance across key retailer platforms. This role partners with internal business units and external retailers to optimise media investment, guide platform-specific activation, and deliver data-driven insights. As the central point of contact for retail media and performance marketing, you will ensure seamless collaboration, effective campaign delivery, and continuous optimisation to maximise ROI and business growth.

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    • Drive and execute holistic retail media planning and budgeting process that is in line with the brand, customer, and shopper jobs to be done (JTBD)
    • Build retail and performance media strategies converting shoppers into buyers, leveraging search, display, and performance media.
    • Leverage shopper data to drive media planning, execution, optimization delivers best in class ROI while integrating retail media plans into holistic media strategy.
    • Build best in class retail media JBPs from scratch that include media rate cards as well as accountable measures such as brand safety, viewability, fraud!
    • Build and establish data driven and best in class retail strategic media framework and agile WOWs for tracking, reporting and execution with the retailers.
    • Be the business partner for the different internal stakeholders to drive holistic planning and media strategies.
    • Drive innovation, especially with new ways into commerce – social, live streaming etc.
    • Improve media standards, and accountability of Unilever media investment.
    • Improved use of signals and data to drive conversions efficiently.
    • Key interfaces: Media teams; Retail media partners; Media agencies; Shopper marketing; Customer / eCommerce leads; Brand marketing

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

    EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
    • 3 - 5 years of experience within eCommerce and / or performance media
    • Working knowledge of Retailer / Omni Media ad products and tools
    • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
    • Eager to take smart risks and champion new ideas.
    • Ability to analyze and propose data-driven solutions, with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Communication and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust up, down, and across the company.
    • Willingness and ability to educate and upskill internal colleagues on eCommerce media nuances and their impact to the business.
    • Understanding of overall media planning process, agency management, and ability to lead teams.

    Process Engineer

    JOB PURPOSE

The Process Engineer role is critical to the development of our factories to World Class Manufacturing, which means zero defects, zero waste and zero losses. You will lead Quality Improvement methods and tools to counter losses identified in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost Deployment, Customer Service and Logistics. The Cost Deployment pillar will be populated with data built up through application of the Managing Manufacturing Performance Code, which is key to ensuring focus on key losses.
    • Working directly with the line crews on a daily basis, act as the technical trainer for line teams and provide coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of counter-measures. You will be responsible for the validation of all process improvements and the establishment of revised basic conditions on the line. A core deliverable is eliminating losses and wastes and increasing the stability of the line to support the transition of traditional line teams to semi-autonomous teams.

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    • Eliminate Waste and Loss according to the WCM prioritization process using AM, PM, FI and QC pillar tools and methodologies.
    • Create Technical and Quality Standards to ensure process stability on the line.

    • Experience from a Continuous Processing background within FMCG or Manufacturing environment will be advantageous
    • Experience in AM, PM, Quality and FI tools and processes
    • HAZOPs and Safety Approval Systems working knowledge and experience is essential
    • Able to visualize clearly what the ideal production system should be.
    • Clearly understand operating principles and establish correct operating standards
    • Experience in statistics and process control tools. Drive decision making based on data
