    HRBP

    Main Purpose

    • Delivers HR support to the business and ensuring HR delivery is fully aligned to business goals in their area of business
    • Supports managers and teams in business delivery through enhancing their capability to deliver Strategy Into Action (SIA) components, manage their people, implement change and build relations with key stakeholders (internal and external)
    • Utilises the talent development process and tools delivered by the Expertise Teams in order to provide and develop the diverse talent pipeline for both the short and medium term needs of the company
    • Collaborates with the business for the creation of a high-performance culture by implementing team and organisational design solutions, providing measurable performance indicators and improvement plans.
    • Brings HR insights (including Employee and Industrial Relations) to bear on all people related issues (people, capabilities, organisation, leadership and culture)
    • Ensures and facilitates HR service delivery to the business
    • Maintains a strong relationship with the union to ensure a stable IR climate and involvement in wage negotiations.
    • Leads/supports the People Development Pillar in the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) programme to move site to World Class Standards
    • Drives cost efficiency through tight management of labour, indirects, overtime & absenteeism.
    • Interfaces with many roles, for example SPM (Service Provider Management), Support Areas (for e.g., Finance, Legal, Corporate affairs, etc), HRBPs, Expertise Teams, HR Clients, Unions, etc. This will vary depending on the role.

    Main Accountabilities

    • Responsible for activation of the local Human Resources plan activation (including the talent component)
    • Provides input into the Talent strategy for the business through developing insight and analysis of people related business issues and opportunities (by activating global solutions, e.g. Talent Management tools/ processes and diversity metrics, etc)Implements, and coordinates change initiatives to support enhanced organisational effectiveness within the business, including leading the assessment of organisation design and recommendation of suitable design/ structures to support business growth;Tracks delivery against the case for change using analytical and data-driven approaches to business and organisational issue analysis
    • Assess organisational culture & work collaboratively with relevant leadership teams, employees and union stakeholders in increasing employee engagement, wellness & inclusion;Interacts with HR and business colleagues within and outside the business to ensure alignment of HR activity in the spirit of One Unilever
    • Works with HR colleagues from Expertise Teams to deliver HR interventions within the business
    • Collects Human Resources/ Organisation Effectiveness metrics and measurement for the business across entire HR lifecycle
    • Monitors and addresses legal compliance issues to by ensure that the organisation complies with local and national laws (for e.g. recruitment, diversity, data protection, employee contracts)
    • Is responsible for delivering Employee & Industrial Relations (ER/ IR) to the business, incl.knowledge of legislative and consequent impact on the organisation, relationships with works council/ unions, government/regulatory bodies, community, etc.;
    • Interfaces with HR service provider for delivery of core HR services to the business and monitors Quality and timeliness of service provision
    • Encourages groups and individuals to work collaboratively by focusing on the common purpose of the team. Utilises insights from the team’s talents (e.g., strength finder, MBTI – Meyers Briggs, etc.) to deliver the SIA (Strategy into Action)
    • Know key issues to look out for and when to get expertise teams involved before escalation;
    • Has financial and budgetary responsibility for HR in his/her geography/function. This will vary depending on the role.

    • Understanding of management trade unions, key legal, compliance, safety and other regulatory issues involved in key HR processes – knows key issues to look out for and when to get expertise teams involved
    • Ideally has had experience of HR service centre environment and/or expertise teams as well as hands-on HR management experience in the business

    Plant Manager- Indonsa

    MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

    Management for all production and internal logistics operations in the site. Deliver production commitments within the quality specifications and costs standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and drive continuous improvement in production and internal logistics based on the company’s manufacturing excellence guidelines and TPM methodology.

    Oversees the operation of the plant, this includes setting department objectives consistent with company’s strategy into action and following through to their successful achievement and completion. Reviews production progress daily and coordinates resolution of daily issues. Review Production performance KPIs with production and internal logistics team through weekly Kaizen meetings. Maintain a safe working environment in the raw and packaging warehousing operation, while assuring a robust operation with accurate inventory records applying company agreed stock control methodologies.

    Alongside the Supply planning Manager lead the long-term master resource planning in support of future growth plans for site brands. Work closely with Site Engineer to ensure sufficient capacities in the factory to fulfil factory commitments. Review volume performance and production prioritization on weekly basis with the supply planning team. In close liaison with the Site Quality Manager, ensure products comply with quality standards and specifications. Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and ensure there’s a robust maintenance system with excellent machine conditions that work reliably and efficiently.

    Constantly stay ahead of all projects in order to meet introduction timings of (re-)launched products and innovations and implementation.

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Manage all conversion operations from goods receipt, material storage and internal logistics, through processing and packing to hand

    • Define the key capacity parameters and identify constraints for short- and long-term production planning

    • Achieve annual committed manufacturing excellence savings

    • Achieve OP targets for Volume, OEE, OR, and cost

    • Ensure that the required and Quality and necessary Safety, Health and environmental systems are in place

    • Prepare and monitor the factory operating plan and budget and control the manufacturing conversion costs and internal logistics (labour, wastage and rework) against budget

    • Coordinate and drive activities of Production leading to continuous improvement of performance, output and reliability; aiming for world-class operations (cost-reduction optimized use of assets and resources and lower wastage)

    • Coordinate the availability of resources and inputs from other departments and 3rd parties

    • Design, implement and monitor procedures, systems and work-instructions to ensure the safe handling of all chemicals, safety of processes and the health and safety of all people on site. Develop and implement appropriate safety training programs

    • Assess personal capabilities of staff and develop/implement training programs to enhance the skills of all employees in production and internal logistics

    • Maintain excellent quality standards and ensuring safe working practices through compliance with the guidelines set up in Company Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, Customer Service and Consumer Safety

    KEY REQUIREMENTS:

    • University degree preferred – Engineering 

    • APICS CPIM or CSCP certified will be an advantage

    • 3-5 years proficient FMCG Supply Chain Operations/ Manufacturing Excellence experience

    • SAP ERP experience

    • WCM/ TPM /Lean experience

    • Cross functional business process knowledge

    • People management / team-building capability

    Sourcing Unit Director - Maydon Wharf & Phoenix

    Main Job Purpose:

    The Factory Director is responsible for operating a factory (or factories) as per agreed standards. S/he leads manufacturing activities in the factory to achieve desired service levels on time. The Factory Director delivers site targets following the supply chain and category strategies including targets on service, costs, productivity, quality, innovation and OSHE.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Deploy and Deliver to annual plan and financial results including targets on service, costs, productivity, quality, innovation and OSHE

    • Recommend long term site strategic plans to the Regional Category and Supply Chain teams

    • Lead site to develop and implement continuous improvement plans to deliver site targets –

    • manufacturing performance management

    • Manage and deliver the site’s financial results: annual budgets, Sourcing Unit Result, conversion costs and create programmes to deliver financial results

    • Engage and facilitate the implementation of innovations on site, for products, ways of working, service models and supply chain models

    • Propose, agree with Category Technology and implement the necessary capital investments to meet the planned production requirements, safety, environmental and cost targets

    • Pursue a site long term plan, including restructuring, re-engineering and retrofitting as agreed by VP SC Category; prioritize and plan resources development and deployment

    • Ensure that the technical standards of all manufacturing and non-manufacturing fixed assets are

    • maintained.

    • Enable the factory operation to achieve high level of Customer Service at optimal cost

    • Support TPM activities and teams by leading the TPM Steering Committee

    • Co-ordinate and direct the factory and co-packer operations to achieve the agreed production plans at the specified product quality with optimum labour, energy and materials utilization.

    • Ensure Working Capital management systems are effectively used, and deliver inventory targets set with

    • Regional Category Planning Directors and Regional Supply Management Directors.

    • Co-ordinate and direct the quality management in line with QA system and ISO 9000 procedures.

    • Lead HR policy deployment and implementation on sites, including management of employee relations.

    • Ensure effective local stakeholder management and community issues aligned with Unilever policies

    • Guard and ensure the application of all Unilever Policies and governance requirements.

    • Lead on initiatives and projects aiming for sites integration and collaborative work along the extended supply chain

    • Lead Supply Planning

    • Be the statutory head of factory where there is a legal separation

    Experience Required:

    • 8- 10 Years experience in Supply Chain (Make/Technology, SHE, Quality are must, additionally Plan, R&D an advantage)

    • PREFERRED

    • FMCG experience
