    Senior Indust Engineer: Cont Improvement

    Job Purpose

    • The Senior Industrial Engineer is responsible for designing, planning and implementing logistics solutions while aligning internal and external stakeholders throughout solution design, approval and implementation. The position supports strategic business objectives by translating operational challenges and customer requirements into robust, scalable and measurable solutions.
    • Lead warehouse, transport and network optimisation initiatives from problem definition through implementation and benefits realisation.
    • Develop engineered solutions and business cases for existing operations, prospective customers and strategic projects.
    • Drive continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma initiatives that improve cost, service, productivity, capacity, quality and sustainability.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (Beng)
    • Minimum of 8 years relevant industrial engineering experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, distribution or a related operational environment.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience leading or delivering complex projects from inception to completion.
    • Demonstrated experience in supply chain optimisation, warehouse planning, process design and continuous improvement.
    • Business analysis experience, including requirements definition and the development of business and/or system requirement specifications.
    • Change management experience in a multi-stakeholder operational environment.

    Executive Assistant

    Job Purpose

    Warehouse Clerk

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure the all necessary inbound or outbound stock management checks are conducted within the warehouse in accordance with Company policy and procedures. Accurately check all picked and palletised stock across the warehouse prior to dispatch and loading.

    Key Responsibilities

    GRV Administration

    • Ensure compliance with established procedures and Company standards to maintain effective control over administrative processes.
    • Implement required documentation and categorisation per Group standards.
    • Receive and match GRV's accurately and timeously.
    • Match GRV quantity and value to delivery note and ensure timely input to SAP and accurate transaction records.
    • Process and capture required transactions in SAP.

    • Ensure waste on floors is cleaned before the end of the day and walkways are neat and tidy.
    • Ensure pallet boards and pallets are removed timeously from pick levels and cold room.

    Cold Chain / Temperature Checking

    • Take daily temperatures.

    • Report any problems with the Warehouse Controller
    • Ensure all delivery truck refrigeration units are in working condition before loading and dispatching.

    Stock Control

    • Ensure products get stacked correctly and securely, i.e. light on heavy.

    • Conduct spot checks on dispatching (loading).
    • Ensure the correct handling, storing, stacking and rotation of stock.
    • Minimize damage of products on receiving, in cold room and whilst loading.
    • Always monitor stock movement – i.e. receiving to cold room, cold room to loading.
    • Prevents overload, short loads, and wrong loads

    Conduct Stock Count Preparations

    • Assist in preparing the warehouse for the stock count
    • Ensure all damaged stock has been isolated and notes have been placed.
    • Ensure easy access to products for counting purposes
    • Conduct daily stock counting as requested by the Warehouse Shift Controller

    Loading Rate Maintenance and Monitoring

    • Maintain and monitor the loading rate (speed and accuracy).
    • Complete performance sheets and record time lost or any other problems.

    Timekeeping

    • Clock in and out at correct times.
    • Keep overtime at a minimum
    • Report any late coming from any staff member to the Shift Warehouse Controller

    Occupational Health and Safety Compliance

    Reach Truck Driver

    Job Purpose

    • The Reach Truck Driver is responsible for the accurate picking, storing and movement of stock. All legislative safety standards must be adhered to at all times. It is of vital importance that the reach truck driver maintains his/her equipment and keeps it in a working condition.

    Cycle Counter

    Job Purpose

    • To count and safeguard stock items within the warehouse.

    Key Responsibilities

    Cycle Counting

    • Conduct stock takes to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals.
    • Conduct daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts as instructed for all materials and stock items in a compliant, accurate and timely manner.
    • Ensure compliance with established procedures and Company standards to maintain effective control over the physical product flow into and out of the warehouse.
