    Administrator: Sales Support

    Role Purpose

    The Administrator: Sales Support role is based within the Consumer Business Unit.

    • The purpose of the Administrator: Sales Support is to provide an end to end sales administration support function.
    • This role is all about being proactive, as well as reactive. You’ll be used to creating opportunities within accounts and managing an ongoing pipeline as well as offering exceptional service on a day to day basis.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Log Service Requests and manage this process till completion
    • Assist Solution Architects with maintenance of customer entities in CRM tool (Siebel)
    • To provide regular feedback to on queries and complaints
    • Data capturing and maintenance of  customer database and other CRM tools
    • To follow up on escalated sales orders and queries received

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    Matric / Grade 12 essential
    Diploma/Certificate in Administration preferred

    • 2+ years of administration experience
    • Must be computer literate with sound knowledge of all Microsoft office applications
    • Ability to manage and resolve queries timeously 
    • Knowledge of all Corporate and Commercial Solutions Products & Services and processes will be an added advantage
    • Knowledge of Customer relations management fundamentals
    • Knowledge of all reporting systems (Eppix, Morpheus II, Siebel, Fastrack, ICAP, Salesforce, etc.)

    Principal Specialist: Decision Support

    Role Purpose

    To provide the Financial & Digital Services teams with financial impact assessment on product launch decisions as well as post implementation reviews and on-going product performance and profitability analysis.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Strong finance support and business partner to the Financial Services & Digital Services Product teams
    • Support the Financial Services & Digital Services product and commercial teams with finance investment decision analysis and adequate business challenge in the launch and on-going evaluation of products and campaigns.
    • Provide accurate data and robust financial models for product feasibility decisions.
    • Participate in budgeting and month-end reporting processes by providing accurate data related to product performance and profitability to the Financial Services & Digital Services FP&A team as well as the Segment, Product and CVM heads.

    Leadership and Teamwork

    • Create positive working relations between the Financial Services & Digital Services finance business partner teams, Vodacom SA Finance and key internal Financial Services stakeholders e.g. Segment, Product, Operations and CVM teams.
    • Work collaboratively with the Financial Services & Digital Services teams and Finance members to deliver requirements.

    Communication

    • Written material must be of the highest quality with clear insights and actions for executive management.
    • The ability to communicate and present effectively at a senior level is essential.

    Knowledge and experience

    • Develop knowledge of key mobile financial and communication products in the market.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Business Science or Data Mining – essential
    • Honours Degree in Statistics ,Big Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, or Applied Maths – advantageous
    • At least 10 years financial analysis experience, preferably in commercial focused environment - essential
    • First-class knowledge in complex investment appraisal - essential
    • Advanced levels of capability or experience in financial modelling - essential
    • Experience in business case and/or investment decision evaluation - essential
    • Experience in financial and business information analysis and reporting - essential
    • Mobile communication experience - advantageous

    Portfolio Manager : Product Designer Lead UI/UX

    Role Purpose

    The Digital Product Development and Design team is responsible for designing the user experience (in the form of user interfaces) across all of Vodacom Financial Services Digital Channels. 

    The purpose of the role is to ensure that through user research, information architecture, UX and UI design, Vodacom delivers relevant products with an exceptional user experience across all digital channels. This role requires solid experience with following user experience design methodologies; crafting beautiful visual user interfaces; working in an agile, collaborative team; and working directly with developers for implementation of designs.
    The role is core to delivering exceptional customer experience across our digital ecommerce channels and will have a direct influence on the digital revenue KPI.
     

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • User Experience Strategy and execution
    • Execute on overall User Experience strategy and obtain organisational buy-in
    • Drive delivery of projects to achieve User Experience business objectives.
    • UX and UI design
    • Follow the user centered design approach in designing journeys across all digital channels
    • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off with a mobile-first focus
    • Establish and promote visual design guidelines, best practices and standards within a broader cross functional team
    • Collaborate with team and work directly with developers to implement final design
    • User testing and research
    • Conduct user testing on new and existing journeys
    • Understand our customers’ needs through interviews and other research techniques. Use these insights to validate product concepts and inform design decisions
    • Channel strategy
    • Design the future state of all digital channels with an omni-channel approach
    • Conduct competitor reviews and research to inform strategy
    • Performance Tracking & Improvement
    • Continuous monitoring of performance across the website
    • Use these insights to inform design improvements

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
    • Matric is essential 
    • 3 year Degree/Diploma in one or more of these disciplines :
    • Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Information Systems / Informatics, Human Computer Interaction or other related fields
    • Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or similar certification would be desirable, but not required.
    • Masters in Psychology, Social Sciences advantageous
    • Minimum of 8-10 years industry experience essential in the following:
    • User-centred design, interaction design, information architecture, or similar.
    • Incorporate market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings into designs.
    • User Research Techniques and disciplines such as usability testing and contextual inquiries.
    • User interface and visual design. Wireframes and Prototyping of user interfaces (using tools such as Sketch [preferred], Axure, Adobe Creative Suite, Zeplin…)
    • Knowledge of technologies such as HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and mobile app operating systems would be advantageous.

    OR

    Senior Specialist NQ E2E Engineering

    Role Purpose

    To perform a deep dive analysis into network performance and develop diagnostic network performance tools to deliver insights towards performance improvement and automated network solutions for customer experience improvement.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Maintain and Develop Analytical Codebase for existing toolsets within E2E Network quality
    • Develop principles in automation and Machine learning for Network and business insights under the engineering influence
    • Liaise with Regional and other Network Engineering teams for improvement and localisation of network solutions with respect to analytics and automation
    • Develop techniques and statistical methods using automated programming principles to fast track analytics  and business guidance to Network Problem solving, Capacity Analysis, Product launch Network impact assessment and Future Technology rollout considerations
    • Maintain database accuracy and relevance of various data sources and interact with other roll players to ensure conformance to business and security principles 
    • Use Geospatial techniques to enhance network evaluation and Customer impact
    • Develop synergies in automation of analytics within the Engineering community that streamlines the Operational teams workload and increases efficiency
    • Train Regional staff in the use of the Automated tooling systems and Analytics
    • Source new datasets for ingestion into the Analytical framework and toolsets to enhance Quality and Capacity monitoring and forecasting and improve time to resolution
    • Generate automated methods in Capacity planning and Coverage Analytics for New Product evaluation and design
    • Interact with Sales and Commercial business units to formulate Network design and Capacity Analysis that works to consumer needs 

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Detailed Mobile Telecommunications Knowledge 
    • Specialist RF knowledge
    • Programming and Database maintenance and design
    • Mathematical/numerical methods
    • Cellular Radio network planning
    • Future Mobile technologies


    Education & Experience:

    • BSc degree in Engineering/IT
    • Programming training in C# and additional Python and JavaScript programming an advantage
    • 3 years’ experience in Microsoft DotNet/C#
    • 3 years’ experience with SQL or database development
    • Preferred 3 years’ experience in Telecommunications
    • Preferred experience in Python programming
    • Preferred experience in JavaScript programming
    • Preferred 1 Years’ experience in LINUX 
    • Preferred experience with Protocol Stack
    • 2 Years’ experience Data Analytics
