Teaching and Learning:
- Teach advanced level courses to a diverse student body, including skills as well as specialty courses in development communication OR corporate communication.
- Teach general communication courses.

Minimum requirements

- Experience in postgraduate supervision at Masters level and preferably PhD level.
- Publications in academic journals.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
- The Manager is responsible for planning and ensuring that externally funded projects are executed and completed on time, within the allocated budget as agreed with key programme stakeholders including the National Research Foundation (NRF).

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
- Accompaniment of undergraduate students in the BPharm programme to clinical health facilities and training of students in clinical skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical accompaniment
- Training and debriefing of students to ensure the preparedness of students for clinical rotations.
- Accompany undergraduate students in the BPharm programme to clinical facilities.
- Compile and submit reports in line with South African Pharmacy Council requirements.
Simulation training
- Assist in training students in simulation facilities to develop and enhance clinical skills.
- Support students in using software platforms used in both private and public healthcare settings.
- Supervise students’ application of clinical and software-related skills in simulation environments.

- Organise and maintain communication with clinics, schools, hospitals and community pharmacies to facilitate visits of students to these facilities.
- Coordination of the 2nd semester program for final year students with the coordinator of LIWC (Learning in Workplace and community).
- Oversee student group logistics, including the use of the WISL system where applicable.
Other tasks
- Participate in and coordinate outreach initiatives that enhance student involvement in addressing real-world health issues and promote social accountability.
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and evaluation of the school activities such as the annual symposium and industry day to foster academic–industry collaboration and student professional development.
