    Project Engineer (61762)

    Job Description

    An industry leader in the manufacturing sector offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Project Engineer.in their Roodekop branch. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following: (amongst other duties)

    • Overseeing installations of new machines and technology
    • Overseeing assigned Engineering and technical projects
    • Ensuring customer satisfaction with respect to all Engineering projects
    • Overseeing machine and automation design projects
    • Developing and implementing project schedules and forecasts
    • Coordinating and checking of engineering deliverables
    • Monthly Reporting on project status and change orders
    • Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects
    • Assisting in the preparation of engineering project and machine acquisition proposals
    • Assisting in the coordination of pricing, estimating, scoping strategies for proposed projects and in the development and preparation of technical specifications
    • Assisting in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits and designs for project

    REQUIREMENTS

    • BEng or Bsc Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering degree
    • Project Management Diploma would be advantageous
    • Have at least 1 - 2 years Project Management experience would be advantageous
    • Competency in 3D - CAD design (Autocad, Inventor, Solidworks)
    • An ability to communicate at all levels

    Role Overview

    • Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Solutions Architect to design and guide the delivery of modern enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. This role combines technical architecture, client engagement, and strategic input to help organisations build scalable, secure, and high-performing data ecosystems.

    The position is a hybrid role that blends:

    • Delivery of billable architecture and solution design for client projects
    • Pre-sales and business development collaboration
    • Participation in data strategy and advisory engagements

    You will work closely with the Head of Business Development and Head of Data Strategy to shape client solutions, support proposal development, and architect platforms that drive real business value.

    Key Responsibilities

    Enterprise Data Architecture

    • Design scalable lakehouse architectures leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
    • Develop end-to-end data platform architectures covering ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption
    • Implement medallion architecture patterns for structured data pipelines
    • Define semantic models and data consumption layers for analytics and reporting

    Data Platform & Cloud Architecture

    • Architect data platforms across Azure and AWS cloud environments
    • Define networking, identity, and platform security structures
    • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform / Terragrunt
    • Design CI/CD processes to support modern data engineering practices

    Security, Governance & Compliance

    • Develop role-based access control frameworks for enterprise data environments
    • Structure and implement Unity Catalog governance models
    • Establish data classification and governance standards
    • Ensure alignment with organisational security and compliance policies

    Integration & Data Flow Design

    • Design integration frameworks connecting enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms, and APIs

    Pre-Sales & Client Strategy

    Minimum Requirements

    Education

    Creditors Clerk

    • Our client, a globally recognised and highly successful food and retail manufacturing group, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Creditors Clerk to join their finance team at their central production and supply chain facility based in Central Gauteng.
    • This organisation is renowned for its strong brand presence, operational excellence, and high-performance culture. The role offers the opportunity to work within a structured and dynamic finance environment supporting a large-scale manufacturing and distribution operation.
    • The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the accounts payable function while supporting financial reporting processes and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments & will report directly to the Finance Manager.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Verify and process supplier invoices and credit notes in the ERP system in line with company policies (ERP: SAP).
    • Reconcile supplier statements against invoices and credit notes to ensure accuracy of records.
    • Prepare payment runs and ensure suppliers are paid within agreed credit terms.
    • Monitor non-stock purchase orders to ensure there are no outstanding items at month-end.
    • Maintain accurate records of invoices, statements, payment records, and related documentation.
    • Prepare vendor ageing reports and investigate outstanding balances.
    • Prepare GR/IR reports and investigate discrepancies.
    • Assist with financial reporting relating to the accounts payable function.

    Minimum Requirements:
