    Service Engineer Software Varian BU

    Your role/ Areas of Responsibility

    • You will perform maintenance of OIS and TPS Software Products to ensure systems are systematically always updated and operate properly to full customer satisfaction.
    • You will instruct and support customers in systems maintenance and in basic operation of OIS and TPS Software Products, to ensure customers/users are self-sufficient in operation their equipment.
    • You will install OIS and TPS Software Products for Varian Medical Systems equipment, according to company procedures and customer’s technical and systems environment, to ensure that all Varian Products function properly.
    • You will maintain a high degree of professional knowledge and safety consciousness according to Varian Medical Systems guideline in order to perform activities under the safest working conditions.

    Your expertise:

    • You hold a successfully completed degree in computer engineering, information technology, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
    • You have practical knowledge in computer architecture and networking. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows based operating system is required. Understanding of computer network and computer virtualization are helpful for configuration and support of the systems.
    • You have minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in field service, medical field service (preferable)
    • Must be a South African National
    • Must have a valid passport.
    • Must have a valid South African driver’s license.
    • You possess a customer centric and service mindset.
    • You are articulate and skilled in interpersonal communication.
    • You are willing to travel extensively.

    Velocity Sales Associate

    What you’ll do:

    • The Siemens Healthineers Velocity Sales Associate (VSA) (GRIP Title Area Sales Professional) will work in partnership with their Account Executives (AEs) to create qualified leads that convert to pipeline and provide sales support to the AEs throughout the sales cycle.  The VSA will develop pipeline through outbound prospecting and following up on sales leads targeted at non-hospital customers (e.g., Ambulatory Surgery centers, Imaging Centers, Physician Offices etc.).

    Responsibilities:

    Produce Sales Qualified Leads (SQL) that convert to pipeline by conducting out-bound prospecting (cold-calls, email, social) and following-up on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) of Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Physician Offices, Urgent Care Centers, Office Based Labs and Imaging Centers

    • Qualify customers and prospects to meet SQL criteria
    • Consult with customers to identify their needs and pain points to identify product opportunities
    • Effectively use CRM system and other tools to plan calls to potential customers within region, record all activities, and schedule appropriate follow-up tasks
    • Hand-off warm Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to field AEs
    • Meet daily, monthly, and quarterly KPI metrics and assist AEs in meeting sales quota
    • Stay informed and educated with Siemens Healthineers product and service information updates
    • Foster strong internal relationships to support fast and effective value-delivery to customers

    Support AEs through the sales process with activities such as conducting client research, compiling product communication material, leveraging internal Siemens Healthineers network to bring in relevant product support networks, completing miscellaneous customer requests, etc.

    • Track insights on customer needs and communicate regularly with field AEs
    • Identify for customer trends in the region and proactively contribute to territory planning / coverage with AE’s
    • Conduct well-organized prospecting strategies and weekly calls with all AE counterparts to discuss prior week’s activities and determine current week’s strategy

    Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
    Your expertise:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or equivalent
    • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, Medical
    • Good communication and coordinating skills.
    • Self-Motivation
    • Networking skills
    • Strong administrative skills
    • Knowledge of the Healthcare Radiology/cardiology business
    • General IT skills, word / Excel / outlook
    • Experience in logistics & contract management.
    • Deliver under pressure.

    • 6-12 months of sales experience

    Bonus characteristics:

    • Experience working in fast-paced sales environment, focused on top-of-funnel lead generation
    • Prior Medtech sales experience

    Your tasks and responsibilities:

    • Manage the product(s), solution(s) and/or service(s) assigned with full responsibility for the results, including definition of their customer and market requirements, growth & profit strategies, business planning, road mapping.

    Junior Order Process Operator (Y.E.S. Program)

    Job Purpose:

    • To ensure accurate and timely processing of customer diagnostic product orders within Siemens Healthineers' SAP system, in compliance with healthcare regulations and internal quality standards. The role supports customer satisfaction through efficient coordination with warehousing, logistics, and finance teams.

    Your tasks and responsibilities: (under supervision)

    • Accurately capture customer orders (manual or EDI) for reagents, instruments, and consumables in SAP (Sales Order Processing: VA01/VA02/VA03).
    • Review and validate orders against customer contracts, pricing agreements, and product availability.
    • Coordinate with logistics, planning, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure timely delivery of diagnostic products.
    • Communicate order confirmations, shipping timelines, and exceptions to internal stakeholders and customers.
    • Monitor and follow up on open orders, backorders, blocked orders, and delivery issues.
    • Ensure batch tracking and serial number requirements are managed accurately.
    • Generate and dispatch delivery documents and support invoice generation via SAP SD billing (VF01).
    • Escalate issues related to credit blocks, incomplete master data, product shortages, or urgent orders.
    • Support compliance with Siemens Healthineers’ quality procedures, SOX controls, and healthcare regulations.

    Tools and Systems Used:

    • SAP SD (Sales & Distribution): VA01, VA02, VA03, VL01N, VL02N, VF01, VA05
    • Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel (tracking, pivot tables), Teams
    • Document Management System: For SOPs, customer docs, and shipping records
