Purpose of the position:
- To conduct out-reach activities to reach the TG community by providing accurate health information, mobilization of TG people to the mobile unit and linkage to care. The peer educator is responsible for providing peer support to all patients already on HIV treatment, and those beginning their treatment journey. Providing telephonic support and follow-ups. The incumbent should also be tracing Pre ART, and treatment interrupters with the aim to bring them back and re-engage them to care. They will also be responsible for providing education and information around treatment and care to all patients. Purpose of the position:

Purpose of the position:
- M&E Officer will support the overall implementation of PWUD programme Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Learning(MERL) activities under the leadership, management and supervision of the M&E Manager/Specialist. The M&E Officer will also actively support the management and coordination of provincial and district program performance reporting. The incumbent will work closely with Site Manager, NIMART Nurses and other program staff to ensure that quality services are captured, validated and reported in line with Global Fund (GF) reporting requirements. S/He will ensure that the M&E Systems and data management processes are adequately implemented and complied with for accurate, quality and timely reporting
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in M&E, Information Technology / Business Administration, Public Health, Data Management or other related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ M&E experience with a specific focus on HIV and/or TB programming.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience in data management and reporting systems including tool development, data capturing, analysis and report writing.
- Experience of working in GF, PEPFAR or other donor funded projects is required.
- Good understanding and experience of using DoH information management systems like DHIS, Tier.Net, HPRS.
- A valid driver’s license is essential
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with program leads and data management staff to ensure PWUD data management processes and M&E systems are managed in line with Department of Health (DoH) information management guidelines, policies and procedures as well as GF reporting guidelines.
- Report on performance indicators and monitoring frameworks.
- Collate monthly and quarterly progress reports for various stakeholders.
- Facilitate training and capacity development to enable the MERL/data team.
- Participate in performance indicators, On-Site Data Verification (OSDV) and Data Quality Assessment (DQA) audits.
- Provide inputs towards the monitoring of activities, outputs and outcomes and validity of information.
- Lead the overall implementation of M&E activities and provide the overall leadership and management of the district program performance reporting.
- Assist with the development and implementation of learning agenda to inform the PR and other stakeholders about the lessons learned from the grant activities.
- Assist with the development/modification of the PWUD work plan, data collection tools and tracking processes against set grant targets.
- Provide MERL technical assistance on data analysis, reporting and data use for informed decision making.
