    Sr Software Development Engineer, AWS Threat Research Team, Anti-DDoS

    As a part of this role, you will:

    • Learn how our products work today, and where we want to take them in the future
    • Design and implement new features from specification to final test and automation
    • Write a lot of high-quality code and mentor other engineers in the same team
    • Act as a technical lead, influencing other engineers’ designs and coding deliverables

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 4+ years of professional software development experience
    • 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent working experience

    Territory Manager

    As a Territory Manager at AWS you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology.You will engage with customers in Johannesburg, South Africa.

    The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

    Your tasks will include, but not be limited to:

    • Work with partner, marketing, business development and technical teams to manage and grow the territory
    • Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically
    • Develop and execute against a plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust pipeline including opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business with prospects
    • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS
    • Analyze metrics data from the accounts to help evolve your business plan

    DE Quality specialist

    The QA specialist should understand the business metrics, build a story which summarizes quality performance, identifies solutions and implement the necessary actions. Following this initial phase, it is imperative to own the actions and drive the required changes which lead to improved performance. The QA role should be setting the benchmark for standards we expect to deliver internally to drive a stronger customer experience.
