    Multi (Pest and Initial) Sales Consultant: Rentokil Initial, East London

    Requirements:

    • A vacancy has arisen for a Sales Consultant in the Western Cape region:
    • To grow the company portfolio and achieve predetermined sales targets by promoting and selling our products and services 
    • Penetrating an allocated sales area and sourcing potential new customers
    • Contacting existing customers to provide solutions for their current, growing and new needs.

    Key Outputs:

    • Achieve Predetermined Sales targets
    • Complete, update and maintain all required sales administration and reporting systems in compliance to policies and procedures
    • Locate potential business through research, prospecting, tele-canvassing and cold calling
    • Attend to phone enquiries and leads from colleagues
    • Conduct sales calls and presentations to new or existing customers.
    • Undertake needs analysis by conducting thorough survey of client premises
    • Complete site risk assessments for every client proposal
    • Report all findings back to the client by presenting a proposal, which includes pricing structures, that describe the benefits of using our services.
    • Endeavour to gain the client’s acceptance and obtain authorization on a new service agreement.
    • Approach the client portfolio for annual price adjustments
    • Maintain and improve the client retention target rate by building and maintaining professional client relationships
    • Increase the client portfolio by identifying cross and up selling opportunities

    Qualifications

    • Valid driver’s licence
    • Tertiary Education advantageous
    • Minimum 3yrs Sales in Service industry / Industry Knowledge advantageous
    • Above average communication skills (written/verbal/non-verbal)
    • Numerical acumen
    • Computer literate
    • Business acumen

    1 x Pest Control Operator: Rentokil Initial, East London, South Africa

    Key Outputs:

    • Providing quality pest control/management service
    • Achieving standards of productivity as set by the company
    • Retention of existing clients
    • Complying with the Rentokil Codes of Practice: Rules of conduct.
    • Compile necessary documentation for client and office after service is completed
    • Advise client on housekeeping, stacking and proofing requirements
    • Comply with legislation and regulations
    • Ensure equipment is maintained and clean at all times
    • Carry an adequate range of pesticides and equipment, necessary to delivery service
    • Ensure the company vehicle and image is protected at all times

    Accounts Receivable Banking Administrator: Rentokil Initial

    This role will be responsible for delivery of the following KPI’s:

    Effectively and accurately perform the day to day processing of financial transactions between banks and debtors accounts in all legal entities

    • Build strong Customer relationships directly with Customers
    • Daily allocations processing between bank accounts and suspense bank entries to debtors accounts with a high level of accuracy making sure entries are balanced
    • Accepting payments via debit card machines and processing
    • Managing daily bank deposit slips accepted
    • Reviewing prior month bank reconciliations sent by Finance team and rectify and debtors related entries
    • Processing of Inter company bank entries between SA, Lesotho, Swaziland and JV
    • Prepare, verify, process and communicate all unpaid bank entries
    • Prepare, verify and process customer refunds making sure full compliance of policies are adhered to

    Responsibility of Debit Order entries to banks

    • Verification of debit order requirements received from clients and branches which includes bank account details and all related checks linked to debit order policies and procedures
    • Prepare all systems iCabs, NAV and Onguard accurately with bank account details and related profiles to be changed daily
    • Prepare monthly debit order run to bank within the prescribed bank cut off dates and times with managing the adhoc debit order runs during the month
    • Play a pivotal role in the conversion of switching clients from EFT to Debit Orders

    Processing of GL Entries and Sales Journals with and understanding of the impacts to the balance sheet accounts

    • Source Tax/Withholding Tax entries verified and processed reconciling to certificates
    • Processing of Write offs and Write backs within correct legal entities
    • Intercompany entries processing
    • Sales from between accounts with correct verifications making sure line items are correct and unapplied in NAV
    • Processing from Bank suspense accounts

    Form part of the AR Month processing processing, deadlines, verifications as per closing calendars with a high level of accuracy

    • Receipt template to be uploaded into NAV
    • Final reconciliations of all Intercompany accounts and bank accounts ensuring no missing entries to other legal entities debtors accounts
    • Debit order incentives prepared for submission to payroll aligned with policies and procedures

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years in an accounts receivable including banking treasury experience
    • Proven working knowledge of financial accounting systems and processing to banks
    • Track record of working to strict deadlines
    • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel -Advance, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Excellent understanding of Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Sales and Operations procedures
    • Keep abreast of new policies (local or Group) and legislative changes to identify/minimize negative impact to RISA
    • Must possess initiative and work without supervision
    • Ability to manage volumes and strict adherence to deadlines

    1 X Quality Assurance Expert: Pest Control in Bloemfontein and Lesotho

    • Conduct regular infield reviews/ assessments with service technicians to monitor abilities
    • Continued communication and interaction with external clients
    • H&S Branch Audits – Pest Control
    • New Product trials
    • Internal Training and Customer Education
    • Ensuring quality Rentokil Services and Installations through QA Checks = 10 Calls per week (All new installations and upgrades, Existing Clients, Top Tier, High Risk)
    • Assist in basic installations from time to time.
    • Complying with RISA codes of practice: Code of Conduct, Ensure Compliance with Legislation and Regulations
    • Assist Customers with Audit preparations, ensuring all documentation is at hand and up to date.
    • Follow up on actions and recommendations to ensure compliance between Rentokil and Customer
    • Compile and communicate Monthly QA reports
    • Ensure all H&S Practices are in place for PPE/PPC and report on non-compliance.
    • Ensure the correct use of company Approved Product List (APL) and report on non-compliance.

    Key Accounts Administrator (12 Month Fixed Term) - Western Cape, South Africa

    • First point of contact for all National Account emergency work 
    • Coordination of service attendance and liaising with client at every stage
    • Follow up on service attendance ensuring service reports and certificates have been received
