What will you do?

• A position of L&D: Learning Experience designer exists in Santam. This role may be based at Head Office Tygervalley or Alice Lane Sandton.
• The purpose of this role is to create engaging learning activities and compelling online course content applying tested instructional design theories, practice and methods.

The role requires the full learning and development lifecycle for allocated client projects, including Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement (Pilots, Testing) and Evaluate (ADDIE). 

What will make you successful in this role?

• Create /Update instructional material: courses, videos, curriculum, training guides
• Write creative and effective learning objectives, instructional content, storyboards, audio and video scrips.
• Develop exercises and activities that enhance learner engagement
• Develop engaging learning experiences using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, etc. that is aligned to strategic business goals 
• Implement online learning programmes
• Apply sound instructional design theories, practice and methods to create learning solutions.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to identify the target audience and design curriculum to address the learner needs.
• Work collaboratively with members of the Design team and other teams within the business to provide consistently high-quality learning programs
• Conducts research regularly to explore new technologies 
• Perform basic LMS administration functions (Moodle, SAP SuccessFactors)
• Collects and analyse program data to evaluate training courses and program effectiveness
• Managing multiple projects

Qualification and Experience

• Relevant Diploma/Degree 
• Instructional Design 3-5 years
• Curriculum Design 3-5 years
• Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
• Short term insurance knowledge will be advantageous

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of instructional theory, adult learning principles, assessment and evaluation methods
• eLearning Authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, etc.)
• Learning Management Systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Moodle)
• Computer literacy skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Motor Wreck Administrator is responsible for the settlement of uneconomical to be repaired motor claims in terms of the applicable policy wording on a national basis, after a quantum assessment completed by internal or external assessors or system intelligence confirmed the vehicle to be uneconomically repairable. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Settlement of all motor wreck claims processed internally or externally. 
• Ensure that correct Settlement is paid in terms of applicable policy wording, terms and conditions and SOP’s. 
• Validate and confirm quantum is correct of all motor wreck damage claims. 
• Arrange for collection of required documentation and keys for claims settlement. 
• Ensure and verify salvage case for upliftments is created and vehicle stocked in before claim settlement. 
• Communication to all stakeholders during the claims process every 48 hours. 
• Settle the claim and load payment instruction. 
• Make recommendations for improvements. 
• Handling escalations, disputes or complaints in regard to settlement process made with the client and or intermediary. 
• Finalise claim once all payments are completed on the claims system. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Matric Certificate 
• Wreck claims or claims experience (minimum 2 years work experience with references)
• Knowledge of Technical Mechanic or Automotive Motor Body Repairs (Advantageous)
• Estimation of vehicle damage and assessing of said damages (Advantageous)
• Audatex / Abuntex formal training (Advantageous).

THE ROLE

• A position for a Team Lead: Cash Management exists in Risk Services, Santam RE, based in Tyger Park, Bellville, Cape Town

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• The main responsibility will entail executing the financial aspects of all cash transactions relating to inwards reinsurance and leading the cash management team.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE?

• Lead the cash management team to ensure efficient delivery of all cash management tasks and responsibilities
• Account for all inwards reinsurance cash transactions in the general ledger.

• Maintain all inwards reinsurance cashbooks and cash registers.
• Perform all controls associated with cashbooks and cash registers, including various reconciliations.
• Update and maintain bank balances and cash forecasting
• Building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with the various stakeholders (most notably bank relationship manager and internal treasury team).
• Provide support to the financial accounting team.
• Provide support to the credit control team.
• Adhere to tight monthly deadlines critical to overall Group Reporting timetable.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in a field like Commerce, Business, Economics or Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience leading a team.
• Exposure within the Financial Services industry
• Reconciliation experience
• General Ledger experience
• Re-insurance experience (preferred)
