    Materials Controller - Midrand

    Job Description    

    • A leading FMCG is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to generate short and medium term Material Planning and Control, to ensure sufficient materials are available to meet production demand while aligning to business strategy and the ever changing environment.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Material planning, Materials Management (Design changes and run-outs), monitors and forecasts for replenishment (Excel and MRP OP)
    • Imports Management– Process and Procedures
    • Maintain systems and processes aligned to business requirements
    • Supplier Relationship Management – ensuring sufficient production of key materials and ensuring availability to meet production demand, with weeks of cover and SLA compliance
    • The person will also be exposed to all of the other disciplines within planning and logistics, with a view to maximising potential and enhancing the big picture understanding of the business. KPI driven performance to achieve triple bottom line results
    • Structured learnings within Supply Planning roles

    Skills, Experience & Education    

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Matric or equivalent
    • A degree or equivalent tertiary qualification (Preferably in Operations / Logistics Management or in one or more of the numerical sciences) will be an advantage
    • Experience in supply planning functions will be an advantage
    • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft products and SAP

    Key purpose

    • To provide technical support and services to the Equipment services division and other related stakeholders through the installation, maintenance and repair of fountain & coffee equipment in order to meet all quality standards and to achieve customer service excellence.

    • Installation and removal of fountain and hot beverage equipment.
    • Servicing of fountain and hot beverage machines.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications and Experience

    • Matric or N3 (Refrigeration/electrical).
    • Registered Trade Test - Refrigeration.
    • Minimum requirement: 2 years’ experience in refrigeration/vending/fountain in the field (maintenance and repairs of commercial fridges).
    • Valid Code 08 driver's licence (must currently be driving). Code 10 will be an added advantage.

    Other requirements

    • Technical Knowledge.
    • Must be a South African Citizen.
    • Clear Criminal and Credit record.

    DRP Controller - Phoenix

    • The successful candidate will report directly to the Supply Manager in Phoenix.

    Key Purpose:

    • To provide an administrative and analytical service to manufacturing so that manufacturing data is available for reference, decision-making, trend analysis and verification purposes.
