    Credit Control Supervisor

    Key Job Outputs

    •  Effective management/Administration of FMCG/Pharma (private/public) accounts i.r.o. opening new accounts, setting credit limits and collection/solving of overdue amounts
    • To manage customer credit limits according to the National Credit Act and Trade Credit Policy
    • To prepare/submit CGIC declarations - monthly
    • To provide excellent service to internal/external customers
    • Set monthly/quarterly objectives and monitors progress
    • Minimise bad debts through controls & procedures
    • Timeous response to queries on overdue accounts/orders on hold
    • Preparation /submission of monthly debtors reports
    • Validating/submission of bad debt and credit note provisions
    • To manage/coach and develop staff according to present objectives
    • To set monthly debtors review meetings
    • To analyse information, schedule visits to customers (private/public)
    • To manage leave applications according to leave policy
    • To become a proactive, innovative member of the team
    • To review departmental standard operating procedures annually

    Requirements

    • Matric with Accountancy
    • Credit Management 5 or its equivalent qualification
    • Diploma in Credit Management or its equivalent qualification would be an advantage
    • Minimum of 12 years Credit Control function experience
    • Previous experience in similar position would be an advantage
    • Computer literacy; Oracle/MS Office
    • Valid driver’s licence

    Marketing Manager

    Key Job Deliverables

    Brand Performance Management

    • Own Category P&L and share performance and track in line with targets set  
    • Strengthen brand share and equity across segments by growing brand health.
    • Actively track and understand performance gaps and opportunities within the category.
    • Maximize ROI and Monitor effectiveness or efficiency of campaigns vs allocated spend.
    • Track & report on market share, brand health, and financial performance.

    Leadership and Team Management

    • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Brand Managers.
    • Set clear goals, develop team capabilities, and provide ongoing coaching or mentorship.
    • Build a high-performance team culture and act as a role model for Adcock’s values.
    • Motivate your team to meet deadlines and deliverables on time and in full.
    • Monitor & track individual performance and development plans.

    Cross-functional Teamwork & Collaboration

    • Be the Personal Care Champion in key forums, driving collaboration across the Division.
    • Ensure daily collaboration with Category & Sales teams to ensure brilliant execution.
    • Partner closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Regulatory to deliver portfolio growth.
    • Build and maintain strong agency partnerships (creative, digital, media, shopper, PR).

    Brand Strategy and Planning

    • Partner with the Head of Marketing to shape and deliver the short and long-term strategic plans for the category.
    • Lead the development of annual bands plans, outlining strategic objectives, must win battles, and KPIs to drive brand growth and market share.
    • Develop action plans to achieve budgeted volumes and profit.

    Brand Campaign Execution

    • Oversee the end-to-end marketing mix across ATL, BTL, shopper, digital, PR, and healthcare professional (HCP) channels.
    • Partner with creative agencies to develop communication as per the agreed brand blueprint and communication identity.
    • Lead internal and external stakeholders to drive the execution of campaigns.
    • Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory and corporate requirements.

    Innovation, Renovation and Research

    • Ensure alignment of opportunities to consumer needs and market opportunities.
    • Drive product and packaging innovation & renovation process from ideation to launch.
    • Develop and maintain the innovation funnel focusing on  a 5-year horizon.
    • Lead personal care in claims development, regulatory and legal compliance.
    • Plan and Scope research requirements in collaboration with the relevant internal teams.

    Daily Management of Brands

    • Day-to-day management of allocated marketing budget on a monthly and annualized basis, monitoring ROI performance closely.
    • Actively participate in forecasting operational planning and budgeting processes.
    • Assist the Marketing Director in the budget setting process.
    • Ensure regular review and analysis of monthly & quarterly performance vs assumptions.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business-related field (e.g. B. Com or B.Bus.Sci )
    • Related Postgraduate qualification preferable
    • At least 5years’ brand and/or marketing management experience.
    • Minimum 8 years’ total marketing experience, including:
    • At least 5years’ brand and/or marketing management experience.
    • 2-3 years of managing individuals or a team. 
    • Proven track record of working within a FMCG in the South African environment.
    • Previous experience in a Personal Care role (H&B, Face, Skin Cleanse, Feminine Care)
    • Proven record driving a successful big brand strategy and planning into execution.  

    Additional Experience 

    • Experience across both FMCG and Pharma/Consumer Healthcare is advantageous.
    • Demonstrated track record working or collaborating with peers/people/stakeholders.
    • Retail exposure or experience with Customer or Shopper facing roles
    • Experience with execution through the line - ATL, Digital, BTL, PR, Media.  
    • Strong financial acumen - experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L.
