    Aircon Technician

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aircon Technician to join our client. The Aircon Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install air conditioning systems according to manufacturer specifications
    • Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning systems, including cleaning coils and replacing filters
    • Diagnose and repair problems with air conditioning systems, such as leaks, malfunctioning components, and inadequate cooling
    • Test air conditioning systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency
    • Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients
    • Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on each job

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years of experience as an Aircon Technician or HVAC technician
    • HVAC or Aircon Trade Test
    • Strong technical skills and knowledge of air conditioning systems
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure safe coordination and execution of blasting operations in line with planned specifications
    • Organize and allocate shift resources to support accurate and timely blasting activitie
    • Oversee daily operations and provide hands-on supervision during blasting shift
    • Manage contractors on-site to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met
    • Monitor and control operational budgets, focusing on cost-effective practices
    • Lead, guide, and develop team members to drive performance and accountability
    • Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements
    • Maintain strict compliance with SHERQ standards and legal safety requirements

    Job Description

    • Hire Resolve's client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Business Analysis team remotely, supporting the design and technical development of customized solutions using the Blueport Platform. 

    Responsibilities: 

    • Under the direction of a supervisor, perform research and requirements gathering; process analysis; investigation of existing functionality; gap analysis; participation in design of new functionality; ensure functionality/products satisfy the client requirements.
    • Participate in project walkthroughs: business requirements gathering, design walkthrough, functional test plans and implementation sessions.
    • Prepare detailed use case descriptions for the development team to implement key functionality
    • Perform product testing to ensure product quality is maintained.
    • Contribute to the implementation of new products and communicate effectively between internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
    • Provide user training
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and
    • objectives
    • Prepare SLA or other reports required on client account status
    • Provide first line support to clients
    • Collaborate with development team to create Statements of Work, where required
    • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
    • Find ways to increase quality of customer service

    Requirements: 

    • 5+ years in performance improvement environments.
    • 2+ years as a Senior/Lead Business Analyst.
    • Experience with external clients/customers.
    • Track record of process improvement design using technology.
    • Ability to write technical documentation (use cases, product references).
    • Versatility and comfort in innovative, dynamic settings.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with the preparation of cost estimates and budgets
    • Measure and value construction work on-site
    • Prepare tender documentation and participate in the tendering process
    • Conduct cost analysis for project work
    • Monitor project progress and report on financial performance
    • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders
    • Support senior quantity surveyors with day-to-day project administration

    Requirements

    • 2–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying
    • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
    • Preferably holds or is completing a BSc in Quantity Surveying
    • Studies completed at University of Pretoria or University of the Free State (Bloemfontein) preferred
    • Valid driver’s license and own transport advantageous
