    HR Manager - South Africa

    • We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function at our Rosslyn manufacturing facility being the largest plant within the AMET Cluster. This role is a critical business partner to plant leadership, responsible for driving people strategies that support operational excellence, employee engagement, productivity, and compliance.
    • The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments, with demonstrated expertise in employee and labour relations, workforce planning, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and change management.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic HR Partnership

    • Partner with Plant and Functional Leaders to align people strategies with operational and business objectives.
    • Provide proactive HR guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent development.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives through effective people management practices.
    • Partner with HR Delivery Centre and the Centres of Excellence to ensure consistent execution of HR policies, initiatives, and approaches across South Africa.

    Employee and Labour Relations

    • Lead employee relations processes, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and dispute resolution.
    • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and HR governance requirements.
    • Provide risk-based advice and guidance on employment-related matters.

    Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning

    • Manage recruitment and selection processes for hourly and salaried employees.
    • Develop workforce plans to meet current and future operational requirements.
    • Support onboarding and integration of new employees to SC Johnson .

    Performance Management and Development

    • Drive performance management processes across the facility.
    • Coach and support managers in performance improvement and employee development.
    • Identify capability gaps and implement learning and development initiatives.
    • Support succession planning for critical operational and leadership roles.

    Employee Engagement and Culture

    • Lead employee engagement initiatives aimed at improving retention, productivity, and workplace culture.
    • Promote diversity, inclusion, employee wellbeing, and a safe working environment.
    • Support change management initiatives associated with organizational growth and transformation.

    HR Operations and Governance

    • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, employment regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Maintain accurate HR records and reporting.
    • Analyse workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • maintain audit readiness and HR governance standards.

    Total Rewards

    • Advises on Total Rewards Policies and support salary merit cycle processes, job evaluations, and reward and recognition programs.
    • Ensure fair and consistent application of compensation policies.
    • Execute pay strategies in alignment with Total Rewards strategic objectives.

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Minimum bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Postgraduate qualification in HR, Labour Relations, or Business Management will be advantageous.

    Experience

    • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
    • At least 3-5 years in an HR management role within a manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, engineering, mining, or production environment.
    • Strong experience in labour relations and employee relations.
    • Experience supporting hourly workforce population.
    • Demonstrated success in implementing HR initiatives in operational environments.

    Accounts Receivable Analyst

    About the role

    • This role works within the Customer Financial Services department (Credit Control) to improve SCJ's financial performance by managing collections and credit management operations, reducing open deductions, speeding up validation of claims and ensuring accurate allocation of invoices to correct accrual; all in line with departmental KPIs targets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, maintain and improve relationships with internal and external customers to ensure timely cash receipt, allocation and query resolution
    • Manage the customer rebates and promotional invoices, ensuring customers invoices are validated with the accruals tracker and processed in a timely manner
    • Conduct thorough investigation of price and logistics claims
    • Manage the creation of long-term agreements, avoiding non-approved expenditure
    • Monthly reconciliation of the subsystem (TSM) to SAP GL accounts and month end reporting

    Experience you’ll bring:

    • Good experience in an accounting environment or accounts receivable
    • Previous experience in Business to Business claims within a service center or a back-office environment.

    Production Lead

    Role Overview

    • The Production Leader is responsible for leading the overall production function at the Rosslyn site, ensuring delivery of safety, quality, service, and cost targets. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across all production lines and shifts, building capability within Production Line Shift Supervisors and driving a high-performance culture. The Production Leader partners closely with Maintenance, SHE, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver site objectives and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities:

    Production Strategy & Performance

    • Lead execution of the site production strategy, aligned with business goals and customer demand
    • Own and deliver Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and OEE targets across all production areas
    • Establish and drive daily, weekly, and monthly performance management systems
    • Analyze performance data to identify losses and implement sustainable improvements

    Leadership & People Development

    • Lead, coach, and develop Production Line Shift Supervisors to build a strong leadership pipeline
    • Foster an engaged, accountable, and high-performing culture across production teams

    • Demonstrated ability to deliver on performance metrics (Safety, Quality, OEE, Cost)

    Associate Manager - Category Management

    Overview:

    • The responsibility of this role is driving sustainable category growth and profitability by combining shopper, consumer, customer, and market insights. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to develop category strategies, identify growth opportunities and improve performance across customers and channels. The role is a data driven meaning all sales data driven tools (customer platforms such as Rex, Accelerate, PnP NIQ are deployed and managed through this role.
