Description
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- This position requires a blend of technical BIM expertise, project management, inter-departmental collaboration, and a focus on continuous improvement to ensure that Teraco’s BIM processes align with industry standards and support the operations of the BIM Team.
MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
BIM Implementation and Best Practices:
- Developing, publishing, and implementing BIM standards, protocols, and processes based on industry best practices.
- Utilize BIM execution plans (BEP) to define roles, deliverables, and data sharing strategies for stakeholders.
BIM Documentation and Data Management:
- Managing BIM documents, asset and drawing naming conventions, and maintaining a centralized drawing repository for Teraco DC facilities, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
- Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of as-built data, including historical projects and ongoing or ad-hoc operational projects.
BIM Data Ownership and Digital Twins:
- Overseeing the review, verification, and coordination of models and design data to ensure alignment with Teraco’s BIM standards.
- Take full responsibility for the BIM Digital Twin models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the lifecycle of the project—from design, construction, to operations.
Collaboration and Technical Consultation:
- Facilitating consultations between internal teams, external consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues via the Teraco BIM/Hub/Ecosystem to maintain data integrity.
As-Built Data Management:
- Collaborating with External Consultants, Architects and Professionals, to ensure that as-built data fidelity is maintained after the handover of facilities to the Operations and IM teams.
- Ensuring that any changes post-handover follow the required BIM practices and are properly documented and tracked.
BIM Workflows and Collaboration:
- Establishing and maintaining efficient BIM workflows to manage collaborative work across multiple departments, including IM, OMIP, SM, and IDEV.
BIM Technology and Tools:
- Evaluating and implementing new BIM tools, technologies, and techniques for continuous improvement.
- Working towards ISO 19650 Certification for BIM and maintaining compliance once certification is achieved.
Supply Chain Integration:
- Ensuring that Teraco's BIM best practices are integrated into the supply chain through vendors and contractors required to collaborate on projects via BIM.
Backup Support in Drawing Office:
- Supporting the Drawing Office with Detail Design drawings and Revit Modelling when required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Qualifications: Professional Engineering Technician or Architectural Technologist (B.Eng Tech/ B-Tech Arch.) or equivalent Built Environment Qualification.
- Autodesk Suite of CAD Software certified with minimum 5 years’ experience Modelling in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM360.
- Experience in training resources in the use of Autodesk products incl. BIM.
- Familiarity with international BIM Best Practice.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- The purpose of the Officer is to oversee and assist with legal and compliance issues,. Key objectives of this role include providing support to service provider and client contracting by owning and maintaining a database of Teraco’s contractual terms with service provider’s and clients ensuring necessary obligations are addressed.
MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Administration of documents within agreed timelines and quality;
- Review and analyse contracts with service provider’s and clients to ensure that the terms achieve Teraco’s commercial objectives;
- Act as a central point of contact and co-ordination between internal and external stakeholders;
- Provide administrative assistance to the Legal & Compliance team;
- Provide administrative support as part of the supplier due diligence process, including uploading information to databases, liaising with supplier relationship owners within the business and checking submitted documents against policies, processes and governance frameworks;
- Liaise with internal teams and individuals at all levels of seniority to support smooth delivery of services of the Legal & Compliance team;
- Ensure adherence to the company's compliance requirements and take corrective action where necessary;
- Identify improvements to existing processes;
- Monitor implementation of contracts and ensure conformity to the requirements of the contracts;

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- This role ensures that all systems are installed, configured, and tested according to design specifications and project timelines, while supervising technicians and managing vendor activities.
OBJECTIVES
- The objective of the BMS Supervisor on the Design and Commissioning side is to oversee the successful setup and implementation of Building Management Systems during new builds or major upgrades. This includes managing the initial configuration of alarms and devices, establishing baseline system parameters, and ensuring accurate first and second fix routing. The role is also responsible for supervising commissioning technicians, setting up BMS networks, and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and compliant delivery of BMS infrastructure. A key focus is on delivering a fully functional, tested, and optimised BMS environment ready for operational handover.
MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Supervise and coordinate commissioning technicians during all phases of BMS implementation.
- Oversee first and second fix installation routing, ensuring alignment with project and design standards.
- Configure and test initial device setups, alarms, and baseline logic across all BMS systems.
- Set up and validate BMS networks, ensuring secure and stable communication between system components.
- Manage vendor and contractor activities, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and quality standards.

- Proven experience supervising teams and coordinating external contractors.
- Experience with industry-standard BMS platforms (e.g., Schneider, Honeywell, Siemens).
- Network configuration experience (IP addressing, BACnet/IP, Modbus, etc.) is highly desirable
