Minimum Qualifications /Requirements

• SA Citizen
• BSc/BCom Degree in Accounting, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics (or similar/relevant)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data analysis (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
• Proficiency in at least one data visualisation tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Excel)
• Based in Cape Town or willing to relocate
• The candidate must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act
• Clear criminal record essential

Skills:

• Understanding of relational databases and query writing in SQL
• Problem-solving: Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings effectively
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to data consistency
